HOW ACTRESS JENNIFER ELIOGU WAS DISGRACED IN ABUJA

Nollywood actress Jennifer Eliogu reportedly had communication
problems with an official of National Film and Video Censors Board
(NFVCB) in Abuja.

A source said Jennifer stormed the office of NFVCB, Wuse 2, Abuja to
seek favour from one of the top gun of the movies' gate-keepers when
the incident took place.

"She came into the office feeling like she owned the world. She buried
her head in shame when one of the top shots in the office said to her
'I don't know you'. This was after she had made people feel she was a
superstar," said the website source.

Interestingly, Jennifer was said to have later introduced herself
properly, after she had been disgraced, with her fake accent. The
source further revealed that it was written all over her face that she
had been well humiliated by the public
disgrace.

Jennifer is a popular actress and the boss of Initiative for
Development, Empowerment and Absolute Stability (IDEAS), a
Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO).

Lindsay Lohan Wants Obama to Cut Taxes--for, um, Forbes-Listed Celebrity Millionaires

Lindsay Lohan has a lot on her mind. And, it follows, her Twitter
account--thus providing the Internet with the latest edition of Ms.
Thing Goes to Washington. Or rather, tries to take it to Washington,
with varying results.

LiLo took to Twitter following President Barack Obama's rousing
nomination-accepting speech at the Democratic National Convention last
night, and seemed to make a plea for what might be the most specific
tax cut ever requested. Ready for this? Calling all one-percenters...

Lindsay stated her case in a response to a tweet sent out by Obama.
"I've cut taxes for those who need it: middle-class, families, small
businesses," he wrote. "@BarackObama we also need to cut them for
those listed on Forbes as "millionaires" if they are not, you must
consider that as well." Right. Clear enough for you?

Unfortunately, Lindsay didn't elaborate on her platform, but such are
the limitations of proffering governmental budget cuts in 140
characters or less. Still, it seems unclear what, exactly, she's
after, though it seems like she's making a plea for those erroneously
labeled millionaires (um, on a very specific list of famous people put
out by a certain magazine), though as we're pretty sure the IRS
doesn't consider the Forbes listmakers the final arbiters of who pays
what, we can't be sure. Still, Lindsay at least seemed to enjoy the
rest of Obama's speech, calling it "short and to the point," before
directing her Twitter attentions elsewhere.

She quickly veered off the topic of politics and onto the VMAs,
posting a photo of herself watching the show and declaring that she
was "so glad" Chris Brown took home a moonman. Later still, she took
to propositioning some of the night's big winners online.
"@onedirection when are you in NYC next or LA?! Want to do a track
@NICKIMINAJ wanna join? @ladygaga you too?" Sadly, there seemed to be
no response. But little matter, as Lindsay was back online this
morning, spreading her good cheer. "just sending love, prayers and
strength to #PrinceHarry," she wrote. We're sure he appreciates it.

What !!!!! Julius Agwu stranded in the US as Air Nigeria shuts down

Julius Agwu at the recently held 'Ghana Meets Naija C Comedian Julius
Agwu is lamenting about his current situation – he is trapped in the
US, no thanks to Jimoh Ibrahim and the recently defunt Air Nigeria.

Agwu says he flew with Air Nigeria from Nigeria to London for his
'Crack Ya Ribs' show which was held on August 26, 2012 at the plush
Lighthouse Hall, Camberwell but cannot return to Nigeria now because
the airline has abruptly shut down services.

The owner of the airline, Jimoh Ibrahim, had on Wednesday, September
5, 2012 announced a one-year suspension of all activities of the
airline and terminated the employment of all its staff, sparing only
50.

The usually lively comedian took to micro-blogging website Twitter to
complain bitterly; Is it a Crime to support nigerian bizness, we flew
AirNig to London, now we can't return cos. #JimohIbrahimO ordered a
closure GEJ #WHY?☹'@JuliusAgwu1
tweeted.
'#JimohIbrahimOFR #JimohIbrahimOFR #

The on-going 'Crack Ya Ribs' show is however going
on smoothly; after staging concerts in London and New
York, Agwu and his crew will be going live on stage in
Houston on Saturday, September 8, 2012.Julius' tweets.
