Latest Feud Alert! Rick Ross & Young Jeezy Beef Backstage at BET Hip-Hop Awards

Looks like the feud ain't over yet between rappers Young Jeezy and
Rick Ross. According to numerous tweets from Funkmaster Flex (and
others), the two rappers got into an altercation backstage at the BET
Hip-Hop Awards in Atlanta, which allegedly spilled out into the
parking lot. The feud between the two dates back in August 2010,

when Jeezy released "Death B4 Dishonor"--which contains lines that
were supposedly disses directed toward Ross. Tonight, though, things
apparently got physical. "Jeezy and Rick Ross just had words
backstage!!" DJ and MTV host Funkmaster Flex tweeted.

"Pushing and shoving!!!" "Beef just spread to the parking lot!!!" he
continued, later adding: "Shots fired in parking lot!!! Gunman
arrested!!! Back to the show and Club later!!!" But the Atlanta
Journal-Constitution's music scene blog reports that no shots were
fired, and Georgia police made no arrests.

Neither rapper has yet to comment on the incident, but both used
Twitter to let their followers know that they were OK and weren't
going to let a little ill-will derail their afterparty plans.

Ross tweeted: "#MMG shut B.E.T down !!!Tonight we show u how to ball
Rozay & @2chainz Mansion Élan #GoldParty" Jeeezy also revealed his
post-awards plans: "TONIGHT!! @iamdiddy, @chrisbrown and I are taking
over COMPOUND for the BET Hip Hop Awards after party!" The awards
ceremony, which was briefly delayed during the incident, was taped
tonight for broadcast on Oct. 9.

ARAB FEMALE RAPED ON WAY TO PRAYERS

An Arab man used a knife to rape a female dentist of another Arab
nationality as she headed with him to perform prayers in the Grand
Mosque in the western Saudi town of Makkah, a newspaper reported on
Friday.

The woman accepted an offer from the man to give her a lift to the
Grand Mosque after telling her he was also going for prayers.

"Instead of taking her to the mosque, the man took the dentist to a
deserted and dark place, where he raped her at knife point," Sabq
newspaper said, adding that the rapist was later arrested by Saudi
police.

MY PEOPLE IN GHANA ARE KISS-ASS ARTISTES—YVONNE NELSON

Ghana leggy queen of screen, Yvonne Nelson has charged her colleagues
in Ghana to be more vocal. She recently lampooned virtually all the
actors and actresses in Ghollywood as boot-lickers who don't know what
they want.
Yvonne expressed her disappointment in the way things are done in
Ghana movie industry.

Hear her view on the issue, "like I said on Peace FM recently,
everybody talks about discipline but then some producers always try to
take advantage of artistes. Most of my people in Ghana are kiss-ass
artistes. They can't voice out because they know producers might not
call them for jobs again.

They just sit down and take anything that comes their way. They just
have to treat us right and they would not have problems with anybody.
I have shot two movies and I am not even a major producer. I am an
actress trying to do this but I do know that if we treat people right,
everybody goes away with a happy face. Don't take advantage of the
people you work with."

50 CENTS AND FAT JOE SHARE STAGE TOGETHER FOR THE FIRST TIME IN CHRIS LIGHTY TRIBUTE

The Rick Ross and Young Jeezy brawl almost marred an otherwise
excellent night at the taping for BET Hip-Hop awards on Saturday.

Interestingly, while some were busy starting new feuds, others were
putting the past behind them as arch-rivals 50 cent and Fat Joe shared
the stage together with Busta Rhymes, Missy Elliott, Q-Tip and
Funkmaster Flex for a tribute to Chris Lighty who passed away last
month.

To show that he meant business, 50 Cent commented afterwards on
Twitter that he was even open to a collaboration.

50cent

Awards taping yesterday, Saturday 29.

CHILD ABUSE: AS 14 YEAR OLD GIRL STRANGLES HER NEWBORN BABY, HIDES HIS BODY IN SHOE BOX & DUMPS IT

A pregnant fourteen-year-old girl secretly delivered her baby with a
pair of scissors in the family bathroom before throttling the boy to
death and hiding the body in a shoe box.

Cassidy Goodison, 14, has been charged as an adult with first degree
murder after police learned how she killed her child following months
of fearfully disguising her pregnancy from her mother and father.

Her harrowing case has shocked even experienced officers and
graphically illustrates the problems of the 750,000 teenage Americans
who fall pregnant every year.

Goodison went into labor in her home in Greenbrier Village, Florida on
September 19 and instead of calling for help, disguised her screams of
pain by running the tap and gripping a towel between her teeth as she
sat on the toilet.

After prising the 9.5lb boy form her body with a pair of scissors, she
felt for a pulse and then strangled the boy to death and hid his
corpse in a shoe box with dirty laundry.

Three days later, as Teresa Goodson cleaned her daughter's room, a
foul odour drew her attention to a pile of soiled, wet clothes in
which she found the deceased infant hidden in a box.

An autopsy performed determined the victim was a full term infant and
that he was alive and breathing prior to death. He died as a result of
asphyxia from strangulation and blunt force trauma.

Miss Goodson had gone to great lengths to hide the transformation of
her 5ft 3in 100lb body during pregnancy, according to Polk County
officials.

Throughout the summer, as she walked around in baggy sweat pant and
loose-fitting T-shirts.

Members of her family grew suspicious of her appearance and attempted
to discuss the possibility she was pregnant with the teen's mother.

But Mrs Goodson denied the suggestions, said the report, claiming that
she had made her daughter do two home tests, albeit in the privacy of
her bathroom, which both came out negative.

Husband Timothy Goodson agreed meanwhile that he had noticed Miss
Goodson's weight gain and that she had been walking around at home
wrapped in a blanket.

An interview with the teenager on September 22 revealed that after the
14-year-old had delivered the 9.5lb, 20.4in boy into the toilet, she
had felt for a pulse and then strangled him to death.

Confirming he was dead by once again checking his pulse, she then
cleaned herself and the baby and tucked the evidence out of sight.

Shortly after, however, Mrs Goodson noticed blood in the toilet she
knew had been recently used by her daughter so took her to Lakeland
Regional Medical Center.

There medical staff treating the high school student told Mrs Goodson
that she had suffered a miscarriage and showed four to five
lacerations on her v*g*nal wall.

Though these injuries were in reality self-inflicted when the teenager
had pried the baby out of her with a pair of scissors, she falsely
confessed to her mother that she had indeed had a miscarriage at home
and flushed the fetus down the toilet by mistake.

Polk County Sheriff's Office deputies, along with members of the
Department of Children and Families responded to a call from the
hospital reporting the case and details were retained by the PCSO
Bureau of Criminal Investigations for follow up investigations.

According to the Sheriff's Office affidavit, on the evening of
September 22, at approximately 7.30pm, Mrs Goodson removed a bag of
smelly, wet clothing from a storage stool in her daughter's bedroom.

While sorting through the clothing she found the body of the baby
concealed in the shoe box.

In a panic, Mrs Goodson called her sisters who in turn alerted the police.

Miss Goodson told detectives she was motivated to hide her pregnancy
and choke the baby 'to stop him from breathing,' by the fear that her
relationship with her parents would change if they found out the
truth.

Miss Goodson was arrested on Thursday and transported first to the
Juvenile Assessment Center and then to the Polk County Juvenile
Detention Facility.

She is charged with Premeditated First Degree Murder, a capital felony
and Aggravated Child Abuse, a first degree felony.

Polk County Public Information officer, Donna Wood, told MailOnline:
This is the most perplexing, confusing, disheartening case I've ever
seen in my 18 years on this job. Everyone has been touched by it.'

WHAT !!!!! DAVIDO PILED UP N500,000 CLUB BILL ON WIZKID AND BAILED

Davido  might deny the brewing cold war going on between him and
Wizkid and even tell everyone who cares to listen that the Pakurumo
singer is his 'brother' but insider sources say that is far from the
truth.

Before Davido bursted into limelight, he and Wizkid were unknown to
each other but that soon changed once Davido also became a household
name and they both got to meet and struck a chord of friendship until
sometime in May when the cordial relationship went sour.

According to an insider who knows the duo well and the source of their
no-love lost relationship, Wizkid was chilling at a hotel somewhere on
the Island and apparently wasn't having a great time so he decided to
put a call through to his friend, Davido who at the time was hanging
out with five other friends of his. The Omo Baba Olowo then instructed
his aide to go and pick Wizkid at a hotel behind 1004 building on VI.

In no time, Wizkid had joined Davido and his group of friends at a
club in the civic centre where they had some drinks before carrying
the party to Movida on Idowu Taylor, VI. While there, Davido ordered
some bottles of Hennessey for himself and two other friends who had
just joined them and as they drank, Wizkid became tipsy and frail as
he had one drink too many on the night.

Immediately, he was carried to Davido's car parked outside where he
allegedly threw up. All this while, Davido was nowhere to be found as
he abandoned his colleague and friend.

After a while, the bar tenders produced the bill which was about
N500,000 and since Davido had disappeared into thin air and bulking
under pressure to pay the bills, Davido's aide took the bar tenders to
Wizkid's home where he was forced to issue a cheque to cover their
unpaid expenses.

This singular act put a strain on their relationship as Wizkid felt
let down by Davido. Already, their relationship had been tested
following the bitter break-up of Mo'Hits as both artistes had their
allegiances divided between Don Jazzy on one hand, and Dbanj on the
other.

But what would finally prove to be the proverbial straw that broke the
camel's back was when Davido was sending out invitation to guests for
the launch of his O.B.O Album and he didn't send any to Wizkid. And to
add salt upon injury, Davido and his crew  reportedly sauntered out on
a Wizkid performance to the consternation of many at the NEA couple of
weeks back in New York.

With these series of events coupled with Davido's denial and Wizkid's
obvious silence in the face of all the 'beef' rumor, isn't obvious
that all is not well between these two super stars? On Wizkid's part,
could this be the moment when 'silence is golden?' Time will tell.

Schwarzenegger calls affair with housekeeper "stupidest thing"

Arnold Schwarzenegger, talking about his affair with a family
housekeeper for the first time in a television interview, said it was
"the stupidest thing" he did in his marriage to Maria Shriver and said
it "inflicted tremendous pain" on his family.

In a "60 Minutes" interview with reporter Leslie Stahl due to air on
September 30, Schwarzenegger admitted that he lied to Shriver about
the affair. CBS released a clip of the interview on Friday.

"I think it was the stupidest thing I've done in the whole
relationship. It was terrible. I inflicted tremendous pain on Maria
and unbelievable pain on the kids," Schwarzenegger said.

Schwarzenegger, 65, had been quiet in public about his affair with
their housekeeper Mildred Baena. He and Baena had a son, Joseph, who
grew up not knowing Schwarzenegger was his father until the scandal
made headlines last year.

After the revelations, Shriver and Schwarzenegger began proceedings to
end their 25-year marriage. They have four children together.

The interview coincides with the October 1 release of Austrian-born
Schwarzenegger's autobiography, "Total Recall: My Unbelievably True
Life." He told Stahl that he was determined to write a book that
included his "failures" as well as his successes in bodybuilding, film
and politics.

Since his term as Republican governor ended, Schwarzenegger has
returned to movies with "The Expendables 2" last August, and he has
five more films in the pipeline. He also inaugurated a global policy
think tank in his name at the University of Southern California's Los
Angeles campus.

Jay-Z goes back to his roots at Brooklyn stadium launch

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Rap superstar Jay-Z returned to his home borough
for a sold-out concert on Friday night to open Brooklyn's new
basketball stadium.

The rapper who grew up just two miles away from the new Barclays
Center arena - now the home court of the Brooklyn Nets basketball team
- talked about how far he had come in a show sprinkled with emotional
speeches.

"I've been on many stages all around the world and nothing feels like
tonight," Jay-Z told the cheering audience.

"I'm really overwhelmed by the moment," he said as he described his
humble beginnings in Marcy Houses, a Brooklyn public housing project
he noted was just 15 minutes away from the arena. "I can't believe
that this day has come."

Jay-Z, who raps about the time he spent as a drug dealer, released his
first album in 1996. He is now one of the most successful rappers in
the world, owns a minority stake in the Nets and has businesses
including a clothing label.

He encouraged members of the packed crowd to have their own stab at success.

"I believe everybody in the world is born with genius level talent ...
Apply yourself to whatever you're genius at and you can do anything in
the world," he said.

It was the first of eight Jay-Z concerts planned for the venue in the
arena's first week.

Jay-Z sported the team's jersey and hat as he sang recent hits like
Empire State of Mind and returned to his highly acclaimed debut album
Reasonable Doubt.

The rapper, whose real name is Shawn Carter, has been heavily involved
in the promotion of the 18,000-seat arena, which took years to move
from concept to reality partly because it met with legal challenges
and opposition from people in nearby residential areas such as Fort
Greene and Park Slope.

The stadium, which started construction in 2009, will bring a major
professional sports team back to Brooklyn for the first time in 55
years when the Dodgers baseball team moved away from Brooklyn to Los
Angeles and became the L.A. Dodgers.

Jay-Z showed off a jersey worn by Dodgers player Jackie Robinson -
also the first African American Major League Baseball player.

He paid tribute to deceased rap star and fellow Brooklyn native
Notorious B.I.G. by projecting an image of him on the stage and
covering two of his songs. Brooklyn hip-hop pioneer Big Daddy Kane
appeared later in the evening.

Bob Dylan, Barbara Streisand and the Smashing Pumpkins are all due to
appear at the Barclays Center during its first two months

Samsung wins reconsideration of Galaxy Tab sales ban

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - A U.S. appeals court ruled on Friday that a
lower court should reconsider a sales ban against Samsung's Galaxy Tab
10.1 won by Apple in a patent dispute with the South Korean
electronics maker.

The injunction was put in place ahead of a month-long trial that
pitted iPhone maker Apple Inc against Samsung Electronics Co Ltd in a
closely watched legal battle that ended with a resounding victory for
Apple last month on many of its patent violation claims.

However, the jury found that Samsung had not violated the patent that
was the basis for the tablet injunction and Samsung argued the sales
ban should be lifted. U.S. District Judge Lucy Koh said she could not
act because Samsung had already appealed.

In its ruling on Friday, the Federal U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in
Washington said Koh could now consider the issue.

The decision comes just a month before the South Korean corporation is
expected to unveil the second generation of one of its most successful
devices, the stylus-equipped Note.

The Galaxy 10.1 is an older model, but the ban still hurts Samsung in
the run-up to the pivotal holiday shopping season.

The world's top two smartphone makers are locked in patent disputes in
10 countries as they vie to dominate the lucrative market, which is
growing rapidly.

A U.S. jury found during the just-concluded trial that Samsung had
copied critical features of the iPhone and iPad and awarded Apple
$1.05 billion in damages.
