Nollywood Actor, Chidi Mokeme returns as the anchor of Gulder Ultimate Search

Chidi Mokeme was the first anchor of Gulder Ultimate Search. He
anchored season one and two before being replaced by Tintin in Season
three. 7 years after he left without any explanations, he's back as
the anchor!

The show producers announced this at a selection party held recently in Lagos.

This year's search will take place at the Usaka Forest in Obot Akara
LGA of Akwa Ibom State. Get ready for yet another mind blowing

PROFESSOR STRIPS NAKED IN CALCULUS CLASS

Michigan State University students had an unconventional math class
last week Monday after a 57 year old Mathematics professor, John
McCarthy reportedly stripped naked in Calculus 1 class and began
screaming that "there is no f****ing God" and "It's all an act and
none of it's real."

In the age of laptop computers, the most surprising thing is that the
students noticed and looked up from their computers. Presumably one
student asked the standard question of "will this be on the test?"

Witnesses said that McCarthy was going through a routine derivative
equation when he started to talk about his colleagues and how "they're
all actors." He added that "It's all an act and none of it's real."

According to a freshman, Kyle Hillman who was in the Calculus class,
the professor had earlier ranted some words; "Math is all about
questions and answers. And Steve Jobs invented the computer, but what
do computers do? They ask questions and we answer them."

Hillman said after the professor finished swearing about God and
religion, he pulled a $1 bill from his wallet, waved it a few times,
then ran out of the class.

"I had to leave the class. It was pretty terrifying."

McCarthy ranted naked down the hall of the school's Engineering
Building according to multiple witness account.

Hillman recalled McCarthy has been a little off since the beginning of
the class.

"Earlier in the class on Monday, he made a mistake and said, 'I'm
sorry. I say sorry a lot. People say I say sorry too much. I should
probably stop saying it'".

Campus police placed McCarthy in protective custody and later
transported him to a local hospital.

John McCarthy holds a bachelor's, two master's, and doctoral degree in
Mathematics.

Brilliance is sometimes accompanied with mental issues; McCarthy
obviously had a psychological meltdown. He was arrested but not
charged with a crime. He could certainly be charged with indecent
exposure but hopefully the police would show discretion and let him
be.

As difficult as it would be for McCarthy to go back to the classroom,
the faculty would really help and support him by treating his strip as
a case of mental illness, allow him seek help, but not fire him. I
would also hope that the faculty treats this matter as a mental
illness and allows McCarthy to seek treatment rather than simply fire
him.

Meanwhile, the school has not released any statement on how the matter
would be treated, but sources say some members of the management
believes the matter should be treated as a misconduct. In the
meantime, the school has merely reassigned his classes and would take

Talented actress, Tonto Dikeh whose incursion into music industry was
announced through her twitter a few days back has finally released her
single album.

The sultry actress, Tonto who was seriously attacked by her fans when
she made her pronouncement into music is about to become the new kid
on the musical scene as her single titled "Itz ova" and "hi" have been
slated for online release from Wednesday October 17,2012.


Another track "hi"is in a way more like techno pop and was inspired by
Wiz Khalifa. The track is somewhat controversial and has lyrics that
will leave peoples mouth hanging open.

A 23-year-old woman tipping the scales at 308 pounds has won the
plus-size beauty pageant Mrs. Utah Plus America 2012,

"I used to watch the Miss America pageant as a child and wished I
could be one of those girls," said the beauty queen, Victoria
Christensen. "I had decided that I was never going to be skinny enough
or pretty enough to do that, so year after year, I would watch them
and continue to wish."

Victoria said she long suffered taunts from classmates calling her
horrible names about her weight.

"At school, people commonly called me fat and "Fatty" -- the worst was
"Garbage Disposal" because people thought I ate too much," she
recalled. "But I dont remember anything more than that because Ive
tried to let them go and remove any negative forces in my life."

Victoria said she first became aware of the plus-size beauty
competition while watching an interview on Facebook with last year's
winner, giving her the idea to enter this year's contest.

She recalled, "My first thought was 'Wait a minute: Plus?!?' I
realized I had a chance to be one of the girls I thought I would never
be skinny enough or pretty enough to be."

Victoria said entering the pageant has buoyed her with confidence,
moving forward. She said the competition changed her life and helped
her see "what a woman should be.

"It has turned me from a girl into a woman and given me the strength
to accept myself and shine," Victoria said, adding she plans to enter
more pageants in the future.

YINKA AYEFELE'S N200M HOME IN OYO STATE TO BE DEMOLISH

The sensational singer, Yinka Ayefele got a rude shocker yesterday
morning when he learnt that his N200m building will be pulled down by
the Oyo State Government.

SAD : SEVEN OF THE FAMILY OF NINE WHO DIED FROM CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING BURIED AT THE WEEKEND

Seven of the family of nine who died after burying their mother at
Emekuku, Owerri North Local Government Area of Imo State, was buried
in one long grave over the weekend.

His Grace, Dr. Anthony J.V. Obinna, Catholic Archbishop of Owerri
Ecclesiastical Province while speaking during a mass organized for the
deceased ones described the burial of seven people from the same
family as horrible.

The Catholic Archbishop said; "Though the gathering is a sad one, it
is out of love for the deceased persons and for the relatives that we
are here. We must remind ourselves of the reality of death."

He said the false rumour that trailed the death of the Emekuku Nine
showed unnecessary fear of death and lack of faith.

"Christians must be wise, as well as realize that some opportunistic
persons in society cash in on moments of temptation and tension to get
what they want.

"There are lots of 419 spiritual people, who use the opportunity of
poor faith to do business, thus creating problems in families," Obinna
said.

Reports say the autopsy report released by the State Commissioner of
Health, Dr. Joe Obi-Njoku, had confirmed that the nine persons died
from suffocation after inhaling carbon monoxide from a generating set.

The state government has therefore issued clear directives on the use
of electric generating sets, pointing out that families should build
generator houses away from living rooms to avoid a repeat of the ugly
incident.

Nigerians reacting to the issue have blamed it on government for the
government's inability to provide steady power supply.

"There have been too many deaths as a result of inhalation of Carbon
monoxide and the government is advising us to build generator houses
far from our house? Why can't they ensure adequate power supply so
that we don't have to use generators?" Mr Badmus said.

The family of nine were discovered dead on Sunday July 8, 2012 in
Umuakuru village in Emekuku, Owerri North Local Government Area of Imo
State after they had buried their 98-year-old mother, Mrs Felicia
Njoku on Saturday, July 7 in their country home.

The deceased include Mr. Pascal Njoku, his wife Juliana and their five
children, Ebere (first daughter), Ifunanya (second daughter), Chibueze
(son) Jackline (third daughter) and Uchechi (last daughter).

Others, who also died along with the Njokus, were Mr. Njoku's sister,
Christina Uba (nee Njoku) and her friend Catherine who accompanied her
to the burial.

written by a blogger, Ernest Okezie, of elanmagazines.blogspot.com,
who said he'd had a relationship with Uti. According to him, a lady
who once visited Uti at his residence to try and seduce him, was
rejected, and reportedly caught Uti and Alex in the act. He called
Ekubo Uti's 'wife,' saying that was the reason neither

Major Causes of Breast Sag ! And Possible Solutions ?

Sagging or drooping of breasts is a natural, inevitable process that
happens to all women at some point, except to women with fairly small
breasts.

The most notable sagging happens with the process called breast
involution , but breasts can start drooping a little at any age,
because they do NOT have muscles in them. They have ligaments and
connective tissue.

Breast involution is a process where the milk-making system inside the
breast shrinks because it is not needed anymore. This happens either
after weaning, or right after pregnancy if the woman does not
breastfeed at all, or during menopause.


When the gravity pulls the breasts down, those ligaments and the skin
can stretch, and so the breast then droops. This depends on the
elasticity of your skin and of your ligaments, as determined by your
genes and diet, and also on normal aging processes.

Obviously large breasts will sag easier since the gravity is pulling
them down more. When breasts bounce during active sports, such as
tennis, those ligaments can also be stretched or even torn.

A good sports bra can minimize that effect, and is recommendable.

When the tissues inside the breast shrink, and the skin surrounding
it doesn't, the breast can look "empty" and saggy. After weaning, a
woman's body usually deposits fat back to the breast (this process
takes months), so that breasts will gain their pre-pregnancy size, but
sagging usually remains.

Another common cause for sagging is when a woman loses weight.

When you lose weight, some of that fat disappears from your breasts.
Typically the skin and the ligaments inside the breasts do not retract
accordingly, resulting in an 'empty' looking breast that then sags.
(You could try prevent this by eating foods that provide extra good
nutrition for your skin.)

According to the study, the following were risk factors for an
increased degree of breast sagging: body mass index (BMI), the number
of pregnancies, a larger pre-pregnancy bra size, smoking history, and

Depends. Dr. Quardt says that it's the combination of pregnancy and
breast feeding that causes sagginess. While pregnant, a. woman's
breasts engorge, inflate and the skin
stretches out. So when you breast feed you're continuing to stretch
the skin out for a longer period of time.

And once you stop, the gland dries up and the tissue shrinks, leading
to a saggy appearance.

The degree of sagginess, however, is different from woman to woman
depending on how much they engorge and how much they deflate
afterwards.

Robbers Raid Ministry Of Finance In Kwara State, Cart Away All Financial Records Of Saraki-Era

"Burglars have made an unprecedented break-in at the Kwara State
Ministry of Finance, carting away undisclosed amounts of money as well
as all documents, including their electronic backups, which detailed
government transactions since 2003.

A top government functionary told SaharaReporters that the burglars
first attempted to break into the Accountant General's office in the
Ministry in the early hours of Friday,
September 21, but the guards and the burglary- proof doors foiled the attack.

The attackers returned on Saturday night armed with different tools
grenades and even a power generator with which they broke into the
offices where the documents and money were kept, the source said.

The burglary story first surfaced on Twitter, where a whistleblower
mentioned it last Tuesday, prompting a terse response from Dr.Muideen
Akorede, Governor Abdulfattah Ahmed's spokesman, who dubbed the
incident a "robbery" that is investigation.

Saraki has denied any wrongdoing in the case,which he labels as
political blackmail being sponsored by his traducers.

The police are yet to charge him in the case, but the Police
Commissioner heading the Special Fraud Unit (SFU), Mr Tunde Ogunsakin,
was reported as saying recently that investigations into the case have
reached top gear and that it will soon be charged to court."

Latest : MAN DIVORCES WIFE FOR GIVING BIRTH TO BABY GIRL

It is believed that woman is a pride of every home, but for Mr.

The 51- year-old man was said to have allegedly thrown his wife,
Sadiat, out of their matrimonial home for giving birth to a bouncing
baby girl.

The wife who was dragged before an Agege customary court by her hubby
for not allowing him to see his daughter, however said that Lukman had
earlier cautioned her that the reason she would continue to live
under the same roof with him is to give him a male child.

Sadiat alleged that her husband once vowed that he would not Carter
for the child and that she ( Sadiat ) would raise the child at her
parents house.

The wife also told the court that barely three months after she gave
birth to her daughter, Lukman threw her belongings out of his house,
and claimed that he didn't have interest in the relationship any
longer. " To my surprise, Lukman came to my parents house when my
daughter was exactly one year old claiming that he wanted to mark the
little girl's birthday".

Sadiat added that her daughter ran way from him, because she didn't
know him as a father. In his submission, Lukman told the court that
his mother-in-law doesn't like his face, adding that she doesn't want
her daughter to live with him as his wife.

He therefore prayed that the court should dissolve the marriage and
grant him custody of the girl.
Meanwhile, the case was adjourned till October 24, 2012 for further

Go Home , Labaran Maku Forced To Abandon Parade As Nigerians In New York Protest

Nigeria's Minister of Information, Labaran Maku, thought he was going
to have a smooth sail in America where he went for an event, he must
have undermined the resolve of Nigerians in the diaspora to
effectively mobilize and ridicule government officials in order to
send a strong message of discontentment with the situation of things
at home.

Members of the New York-based Nigeria Liberty Democratic Forum (NLDF)
had earlier today staged a dramatic flash protest that forced Labaran
Maku to abandon New York City Day Independence parade. The parade is
an annual event organized by the Nigerian government and some Nigerian
organizations in the US.


The NLDF protesters were led by Bukola Oreofe, an official of the
group. The protesters had joined the colorful parade from 51st Street
and 2nd Avenue when word spread that Mr. Maku was the "Parade Marshal"
and led a troupe of Nigerian diplomats who waved the Nigerian flag at
different groups as they danced the Nigeria House on 44th Street.

The NDLF members staged their traditional protest march past the
Nigerian government officials. Shortly after, the protesters
penetrated the area where the Nigerian minister and other officials
were and began a flash protest. The protesters sang protest songs
against the Goodluck Jonathan administration. Facing the minister,
they shouted, "Go Home!" They also accused Nigerian officials of
corruption and insensitivity to the plight of the vast majority of
Nigerians.

One of the protesters told a correspondent of SaharaReporters that Mr.
Maku "should return to Nigeria. and sympathize with millions of
Nigerians who are currently besieged by a massive flood disaster that
has affected 22 states." So far, the floods have claimed the lives of
148 Nigerians.

Other protesters demanded that the minister help to fix Nigeria's
myriad problems to ensure that Nigerians can celebrate their
Independence Day in public without fear of terrorist attacks.

As the protests became charged, the Nigerian officials called in
police officers from the New York Police Department to drive the
protesters away. However, the NYPD officials showed no inclination to
force out the protesters. Instead, the officers stood guard around the
protesters to forestall any breakdown of law and order.

Once it became clear to the Nigerian delegates that NYPD officers
would not force the protesters to leave, Mr. Maku and the diplomats
left the stage and hurriedly retired inside the Nigeria House. Their
disappearance brought the parade to an abrupt end.

The jubilant protesters continued to sing protest songs and addressed
onlookers about the deplorable condition of their country. They warned
that more protests against Nigerian officials visiting the US would be
planned and staged.
