Wizkid Thumbs Down Tonto Dike's Songs

Ever since Nollywood actress, Tonto Dike, released her two singles,
'Itz Ova' and 'HI', it has generated lots of controversies on all
social networks and airwaves.

It's a well know fact that Tonto and Wizkid are fond of each other, so
for even the star boy Wizkid to have tweeted that, 'Shawty needs to
chill,' shows that she ought to have chilled a while before coming out
with such a trash called song.

Is Wizkid implying that she is not yet ready to hit the music industry
because she is an actress and not a musician? Your guess is as good as
mine.

event and after the party.

They were spotted hugging, kissing and posing for photographs
throughout the event. I hope this rumour is true.

Breaking News : Funke Akindele’s Husband Expecting Three Children From Three Different Women

"ALHAJI" Kenny Almaroof Oloyede aka Funke Akindele's husband is set
to be a new father(s) very soon.

According to a report culled from E24-7Mag, Kenny, who already has
five children, is. expecting 3 new babies one from his Baby
Mama-Fadekemi, another one from one lady named Modinat, and Funke is
reportedly pregnant and said to be due in mid-July of 2013.

The case of Modinat seems to be most pathetic as she is caught in the
middle of the storm and was coerced to keep her mouth shut in exchange
for Kenny's continued generosity.

"A Lagos trader, Modinat Nike Dada, in her late 30s is seven months
pregnant for Funke Akindele's husband, Kehinde Oloyede, E24-7 MAGAZINE
can authoritatively reveal.

Modinat, mother of two boys and popularly known as Mama Dayo, was
formerly married to a man simply known as Dayo. Both have since
separated. The marriage crashed some years back due to irreconcilable
differences and alleged domestic abuse.

Her former hubby was a wife beater, alleged some sources.
But when the situation became life threatening she had to leave the
man and joined her elder sister, a successful clothing merchant in her
shop at Oshodi.

Her former hubby, Dayo, was a graduate of Ogun State Polytechnic,
Abeokuta. Not a few. family members were surprised to know that the
marriage did not last because they were like two inseparable lovebirds
when they were dating.

The former hubby took the two children away from her and kept them in
her mother's custody in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State. Though life threw a big
storm at her, she found solace in the love and care from her immediate
siblings who were not only always around her but promptly responds to
her needs.

Modinat in her late 30s quickly picked her life up and became
industrious. She traded in some fast consuming goods which she was
selling in wholesale to retailers.

When she finally moved to her sister's shop, her path crossed with
Kehinde Oloyede, popularly known as Kendoo. Incidentally, Kendoo a
property merchant is the landlord of her sister's shop in Oshodi. He
found in her a good and amiable friend and as fate would have it, she
found herself in his arms.

Modinat and Kendoo instantly became an item and they were seen
together at some of their close friends' private parties.

The romance thickened, they shared great moments together and there
was pressure to get pregnant. Not once or twice inside sources said
the Ota, Ogun State-born trader was accompanied to several
spiritualists and gynecologists by Kendoo in their bid to seal their
romance with a baby.

Sometimes in March, she got pregnant and filled with joy, she
announced to her lover-boy, who close sources said was not ecstatic
about it.

"He practically took off, he stopped coming to her house, shunned all
entreaties and stopped picking her calls," E24-7 MAGAZINE's source
hinted.

The following month, Modinat was shocked to read in magazines and
newspapers that Kendoo wanted to marry the Return of Jenifa's star
actress, Funke Akindele. She was devastated, flustered but once again,
her family rose and stood firmly behind her.

In the last few months, Modinat has been under intense pressure to
keep her mouth sealed and advised to avoid the media. Sources close to
her confirmed that she has been inundated with calls by several people
close to the famous actress, Funke Akindele, to keep a low profile and
keep the 'family's' dirty linen away from the public.

She has been promised juicy offers if she delivers without spilling
the bean and grudgingly she has accepted. Modinat, who currently lives
in a tastefully furnished apartment in Agege area of Lagos has
accepted her fate and rejoices in the fact that the baby she is
expecting would bring joy back to her again.

Since her former hubby took her two boys away she has not set her eyes
on them, she feare Since her former hubby took her two boys away she
has not set her eyes on them, she feared the estranged hubby might
move them abroad and cut her links to them forever.

Her consolation is in the baby she's expecting to be her companion in
years to come. As it were, Funke Akindele's hubby with five kids
already is expecting in the next few months three additional children
in his harem.

His second wife, Fadekemi is in the last trimester of her pregnancy
and is due to deliver soon. Modinat will also have her baby latest in
December latest while Funke, reported to be in her first trimester is
expected to deliver mid-July 2013."

Nollywood Star : Rita Dominic Sets To Wed

Unlike Bimbo Akintola who claims to marry even at 70, Nollywood
epitome of beauty, Rita Dominic doesn't share same ideology as far as
marriage institution is concerned with her old colleagues as she is

Rita recently revealed in an interview that she's getting married very
soon. The Nollywood actress said, "very soon.

You guys would get invites. Sincerely, it's very soon," this was her
word when she was asked for her plans for marriage.

groom will not be coming from America like Uche Jombo. Very soon is
indefinite....

WOMAN BREASTFEEDS DOG

Terri Graham, a mother of two, couldn't breastfeed her children. But,
she's now fulfilling her maternal desire in an unorthodox way — by
breastfeeding her 9-year-old daughter's dog, a pug named Spider.

In an interview published in the Oct. 20 U.K. edition of Closer
magazine, Graham, 44, said that she knows some people might consider
her a "freak," but insisted that her breastfeeding nourishes the dog,
and makes her feel like a better mom.

"Having Spider suckle on my boob means I finally feel complete and a
better mother," Graham told Closer.

Graham, who is from California, claimed that the dog developed a taste
for breast milk in 2010 after licking the nipple of a bottle she had
pumped for her then-newborn son. She says she has breastfed the dog
for about 2 years.

A photo of the article about Graham was posted to a Reddit forum
devoted to strange and outrageous news, where it quickly received more
than 2,000 "upvotes" and rose to the site's front page.

Although the comments were riddled with jokes, one user pointed out
that a British woman had reportedly breastfed her dog in 2010.

A psychologist interviewed for the magazine piece suggested that
Graham seek therapy, but stranger incidents involving canines have
occurred in the British Isles.

In July 2011, a man was charged in Ireland for violating that
country's bestiality laws after a woman died from an allergic reaction
following sex with his German shepherd.

MRS JONATHAN- I DO NOT HAVE TERMINAL ILLNESS

After several weeks of absence, the First Lady, Mrs. Patience
Jonathan, yesterday, returned to a boisterous welcome amidst tight
security at the Presidential Wing of the Abuja International Airport.
He debunked insinuations that she had a tummy tuck in a German
hospital.

A large  crowd of mostly  women, youth groups and traditional dancers,
dressed in colourful outfits welcomed her in a ceremony that was
largely restricted.

Mrs. Jonathan's welcome party was led by all female ministers and
other presidential aides at the airport.

Though she appeared to have lost some weight, she was in high spirit
as she thanked God for giving her a second chance, in an interview
conducted by Nigeria Television Authority, NTA.

She condemned those who insinuated that she was going to die like Gen.
Sani Abacha, Mrs Stella Obasanjo and President Umaru  Yar'Adua, saying
God's purpose for her still stands.

She said: "Thank God Almighty for bringing me back safely to Nigeria.
Wherever there are good people, there are also bad ones.

"There are few Nigerians that are saying whatever they like, not what
God planned because God has a plan for all of us. And God has said it
all that when two or three are gathered in His name that He will be
with them. And Nigerians gathered and prayed for me and God listened
and heard their prayers, so I thank God for that.

"At the same time I will use this opportunity to tell those few ones
that are saying that anybody that goes to Villa or Aso Rock will die.
They mentioned Abacha, they mentioned Stella Obasanjo, they mentioned
Yar'Adua and other people. But those people why didn't they mention
those ones that went there with their families and succeeded and they
still came out alive.

"We should remember that Aso Rock is the seat of power and that is
where God has ordained for Nigerians, that our leaders should rule
from and to rule us right. God is wonderful and his infinite mercy
endures.

"At the same time, I read in the media where they said I was in the
hospital. God almighty knows I have never been to that hospital, I
don't even know the hospital they mentioned.

"I have to explain what God has done for me. I do not have terminal
illness, neither did I do any cosmetic surgery, much less tummy tuck.
My husband loves me as I am and I am pleased with how God created me I
cannot add anything.

"But at the same time, I will use this opportunity to thank my beloved
husband and my children and my staff in general and all Nigerians for
standing by me during my trying times.

"God has given me a second chance to come and work with women of
Nigeria,  children and the less privileged. I have come to serve
Nigeria, I have come to work with Nigerians, I am there for them. Once
more, I am pleased to be back. I love Nigerians. They are my family."

At the Presidential Villa where she returned to the warm welcome of
her husband, children and her mother-in-law, Mrs. Eunice Jonathan and
her domestic staff at about 5 p.m, her media aide who had gone
incommunicado during the duration of her stay  suddenly became
overzealous as he harassed journalists who had sought to interview the
first lady.

He told the journalists: "No! Do you want to kill her? She has to
rest. Go to your beat, is this your beat?"

PRESIDENCY 2015: COURT DETERMINES JONATHAN'S ELIGIBILITY TODAY

An Abuja High Court sitting at Maitama, will today, determine whether
President Goodluck Jonathan is eligible or not to contest Presidency
in 2015.

It was an aggrieved member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Mr
Cyriacus Njoku, that approached the court, asking it to go ahead and
determine "whether Section 135(2) of the Constitution, which specifies
a period of four years in office for the President, is only available
or applicable to a person elected on the basis of an actual election
or includes one in which a person assumes the position of President by
operation of law, as in the case of Dr. Goodluck Jonathan."

Likewise, a seven-man panel of Justices of the Supreme Court has fixed
December 14, to deliver judgment on another suit seeking to nullify
the April 16 general election that brought President Jonathan to
power.

The suit was filed before the apex court by the National Democratic
Party, NDP, which is alleging that the Independent National Electoral
Commission, INEC, violated several provisions of the Electoral Act,
2010. The party contended that the second timetable the electoral body
used for the general election was illegal, null and void.

Meantime, in his suit, Cyriacus who said he intended to vie for the
Presidency in 2015, is also urging the high court to determine
"whether Section 137(1) (b) of the Constitution, which provides that a
person shall not be qualified for election to the office of President
if he has been elected to such office at any two previous elections,
applies to the first defendant, who first took an oath of office as
substantive President on May 6, 2010 and took a second oath as
President on May 29, 2011."

He is seeking a declaration that 'the President's tenure of office
began on May 6, 2010 when his first term began and his two terms shall
end on May 29, 2015 after taking his second oath of office on May 29,
2011; and by virtue of Section 136 (1) (b) of the Constitution, no
person (including the first defendant) shall take the oath of
allegiance and the oath of office prescribed to in the Seventh
Schedule to this Constitution more than twice.

Meanwhile, both President Jonathan and the PDP, in separate
preliminary objections they filed against the suit, described it as
"frivolous and highly vexatious," saying it ought to be dismissed in
its entirety as grossly lacking in merit.

They contended that the plaintiff failed to disclose any reasonable
cause of action that precipitated the suit, insisting that Jonathan is
currently doing his first term of four years in office as the
President of Nigeria as provided by the 1999 constitution as amended.

According to the PDP, "President Jonathan's status and position is
formidably backed by the 1999 constitution. The constitution of
Nigeria only makes provisions for a president to contest for not more
than two terms of four years each. The constitution recognizes the
President's tenure of office to be four years."

PDP further maintained that Jonathan had not indicated or announced
anywhere whether in words or in writing that he would contest for the
presidential election in 2015, adding that the plaintiff lacked the
locus-standi to seek for such declarative orders against Jonathan.

Similarly, Jonathan, through his consortium of lawyers led by Chief
Ade Okeaya-Inneh, SAN, maintained that the 1999 constitution, as
amended, permits him to contest for not more than two terms of 4-years
each.

In a15-paragraph counter affidavit that was deposed on his behalf by a
lawyer, Mr Osahon Okeaya-Inneh, Jonathan said he was yet to indicate
or announce anywhere that he would contest for presidency in 2015,
just as he dismissed the suit as an academic exercise.

In the counter affidavit entered against the suit, counsel to Jonathan
averred: "I am a counsel in the law firm of Ade Okeaya-Inneh and Co.
Counsel to the 1st defendant in this suit, by virtue of which I am
conversant with the facts of this case

"I have the consent and authority of the 1stdefendant/respondent to
depose to this affidavit

"When my law firm was briefed by the 1stdefendant to represent him in
his action, I, together with Mr Mattew Aikhionbare (senior special
assistant to the President) and Dr Reuben Abati (special adviser on
media and publicity to the President) meticulously went through the
11-paragraph affidavit of the plaintiff in support of his originating
summons.

"The 1st defendant is currently doing his first term of 4 years in
office as the president of Nigeria as provided by the 1999
constitution as amended. The 1st defendant status and position is
formidably backed by the 1999 constitution.

"The constitution of Nigeria only makes provisions for a president to
contest for not more than 2 terms of 4 years each. The constitution
recognizes the Executive President's tenure of office to be 4 years.

"I was informed by Dr Reuben Abati on the April 4, 2012 at about 5.30
pm in his office and I verily believe that. 'The 1stdefendant has not
indicated or announced anywhere whether in words or in writing that he
will contest for the presidential elections to be conducted in 2015.

"The Late President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua contested and won the
presidential elections conducted in 2007 for a one term of four years.
He was the president from May 29, 2007 until sometime in May 2010 when
he passed on. Yar'Adua's four years was to end in 2011."

Jonathan further told the court that on May 6, 2010, he was sworn in
as the president after the demise of the Late President Yar'Adua
thereby completing Yara'Adua's 12 months of the 4 years tenure,
stressing that this is the first time he is coming to power as the
president of Nigeria through a conducted election wherein he was voted
as the presidential candidate of his party, the PDP.

He said the plaintiff neither attached copies of his recent tax
clearance certificate from the Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS,
nor his PDP membership card as proof of who he claimed to be.

Therefore, he beseeched the presidingJustice Mudashiru Onyangi to
terminate hearing on the suit he said was meant to make the court
labour in futility.

Remarkably, this is the second time the plaintiff, Njoku is dragging
President Jonathan to court with a view to thwarting his political
ambitions.

It will be recalled that he had in August 2010, attempted to stop the
PDP from allowing Jonathan to participate in the PDP presidential
primaries of January 2011.

Njoku, from Zuba Ward in Gwagwalada Area Council of Abuja and with PDP
registration number 1622735, had previously urged the court to ask the
PDP to respect its principle on zoning formula in line with Article 7.
2(c) of the party's constitution.

He had insisted that the declaration of Jonathan (third defendant) to
contest the presidency on the PDP platform was contrary to
Article7.2(c) of the 2009 Constitution of the PDP, as amended.

However, the Chief Judge of the FCT High Court, Justice Lawan Gummi
dismissed the zoning suit, thus paving way for President Jonathan to
emerge as the flag bearer of the party in the last general elections.
