Rihanna Attends Chris Brown Internet Channel Party As Both Get Very Cozy At the Party

The Chris Brown and Rihanna saga continued on Saturday night when the
two were spotted getting close at a Hollywood event.

The Good Girl Gone Bad took a break from recording her new album,
Unapologetic, to support the singer at the launch of his new Internet
channel on Qubeey.com. The party was held at a private residence in
Beverly Hills.

According to other partygoers Rihanna and Brown were getting very cozy
hugging and even sharing a drink and a cigarette with each other.

At one point the lovebirds were spotted sitting on a sofa in the VIP
section alongside comedian Brandon T Jackson.

Brown and Rihanna who split in 2009 after he was convicted of beating
her up have made no secret of the fact that they have reconciled.

Over the past few weeks he has dumped his girlfriend Karrueche Tran
and even released a video claiming to be in love with two people.

Rihanna speaks about their relationship, and forgiving him for
assaulting her, in the November issue of Vogue. She said: The world
hasnt let go. They havent seen any progress in our friendship, because
they dont see anything. But theyre not on the inside.

In the meantime the singer has been posting cryptic messages on her
Twitter page. On Friday she tweeted: I found the one, he changed my
lifeBut was it me that changed and he just happened to come at the
right time? #UNAPOLOGETIC.

Oshiomhole frees two prisoners condemned to Death

GOVERNOR Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State has granted amnesty to two
prisoners condemned to death in exercise of his prerogative of mercy.

The governor said the prisoners, Monday Odu, who was sentenced to
death for conspiracy and murder, and Calistus Ikem, convicted for
conspiracy and armed robbery, were granted amnesty because they did
not take the lives of their victims.

He also commuted to life imprisonment the sentence of death penalty
for two others: Tijani Mustapha, convicted for conspiracy and armed
robbery; and Zubem Abduramma, convicted for conspiracy and armed
robbery; while Patrick. Ojiefo, who was convicted for assault on a
police officer while discharging his lawful duty and served 6-months
jail term in 1973, was granted pardon.

Speaking after granting amnesty to Odu and Ikem, Oshiomhole said: "You
have been condemned to death for murder but we have exercised the
prerogative of mercy to release you from prison for the offence
believing you have learnt your lesson. You can still be useful to
society and useful to yourself."

While addressing Odu, 32, and a minor when he was convicted in 1997,
the governor said, "We are letting you off the hook to go and sin no
more. We will find a way to find a job for you under the Edo Youth
Employment Scheme.

You have no reason to return to crime and that means if you do
anything again you are completely on your own."

He told Ikem, 52, and convicted in 1996, to be ready to work and cope
with the rigours of life as he returned to his family in Imo State.

"You stole house hold items which could have taken your life. The
government will give you N200,000 and another N100, 000 to Monday Odu
to go and start all over. I hope you will be able to make something
positive out of this your present condition," Oshiomhole added.

The Comptroller of Prisons in Edo State, Mr. Ewuho Jimoh, who led the
prisoners to Government House, said he was presenting the two inmates
who had been granted amnesty in compliance with a letter granting them
pardon to the governor. What do you think? ' Oshiomhole '. Just saved
life's .

Mimiko Landslide

After months of intense politicking and anxiety, the Ondo State
governorship election ended yesterday with Governor Segun Mimiko of
the Labour Party emerging victorious.

The announcement of the results by the Independent National Electoral
Commission began at 2:55am today and ended at 4:30am when the process
was discontinued. One of the INEC officials told the gathering of
electoral officials, party agents and security agents that more
declaration of the results would resume at 10am.

As of the time the announcement was stopped, the results from 15 Local
Government Areas had been announced. The results clearly showed that
Mimiko's victory at the poll was all but assured.

Out of the 15 LGAs, the LP candidate won in 12 LGAS including Akoko
South-East, Akoko North-East, Akoko North-West and others. The Action
Congress of Nigeria candidate, Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu, won in two local
government areas, while the Peoples Democratic Party candidate,
Olusola Oke, won in one.

ACN won in Akeredolu's local government, Owo, and Senator Ajayi
Boroffice's Akoko South West Local Government Area. PDP won in
Okitipupa Local Government Area. Results from three local government
council areas were not declared.

Mimiko started the day on a good note winning his polling unit whereas
the Action Congress of Nigeria candidate, Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu, lost
his polling unit and ward to the governor's party.

Mimiko polled 348 votes at his Ondo Ward 7 Unit 20, while the PDP and
the ACN scored 18 and 16 respectively. Voters across Ondo trooped out
to the streets after Mimiko's victory
in his ward.

Akeredolu scored 139 in his Ward 5 Unit 6 in Owo, while Mimiko scored
144 votes, just as the PDP polled 35.

It was also gathered that the PDP lost at the Special Adviser to the
President on Niger Delta, Mr. Kingsley Kuku's polling unit, RCM Unit
2, Arogbo Ward1. The result showed that the LP polled 97; PDP, 85; and
ACN 16.

At Adumasi House, Unit 04, Ilepa Ward II, Ikare, Akoko North-East
Local Goverment Area, ACN had 82 votes with the LP polling 100 and
PDP, 60.

There was jubilation in Akure, Ondo and Owo towns when news filtered
in that the LP was leading in the results announced at the various
polling units in the state.

There were altercations between loyalists of LP and the ACN in some
parts of Oka, Ikare and Akungba over the election results.

Some of the ACN members had accused the ruling LP of engaging in
ballot stuffing in some areas.

Despite initial fears of voter apathy, there was a high turnout of
voters in most parts of the state. In Ondo-North Senatorial District
of the state, voters trooped out to polling centres amidst tight
security by the joint patrol team comprising army, police, civil
defence and men of the State Security Service.

If LP wins the election is not that their
aspirant is the best candidate. But it is due to
imposition of Akeredolu on ACN. with this
Tinubu or what it is his name will let the wish
of people be done.

wrong people, if Lagos happened to be Ondo

serve unpopular candidate.

to see free and fair elections in Nigeria.
Please whenever it is time for Delta state's

Tinubu don enter debt after all the wasting of
money.Do you acn guys really think all
people in ondo state are st*pid like your
tinubu?you guys are talking of regional
integration does that mean we should for one
party?why cant there be different parties and
yet the southwest still remain integrated?if
you say will should vote for a.c.n in the name
of regional integration propose by your stupid
tinunubu, then where is democracy that allows
people to vote for the people of their choice?
or are we in the millitary era where civilian
have no right to choose?does that mean no
matter what a.c.n does on the throne we have
no choice than to continue to vote for the
stup*d party in the name of regional
integration why cant there be a organization
set up that unite all southwest governors
inrespective of their political parties and when
as political parties become an
organization .you see you people may have
deceived the gullible people of other states
but ondo state indigenes are always more
intelligent than you all and we are always
ready to practise true democracy, even if we
have to vote labour party again to stop all
your party deception and brain washing.
A.c.n you and tinubu are just some set of
irreponsible boys.

Kazeem October 21, 2012 at 2:36 am

I salute the courage of the Ondo people for
resisting the Lagos encroachment plan. Who
knows if the ACN candidate has won, may
be the Okadas of the Ondo's indigenes who
were sent packing by BRF from Lagos
would be crushed again in Ondo! BRF,
Tinubu and ACN in general are not poor
people friendly.

The era of people being blindfolded by
moneybags is over. Individuals would now
be voted into office by their achievements.
BRF didn't show his colour early enough in
Lagos, perhaps he wouldn't have been voted
in for the 2nd term. Anyway, he has spoilt the
show for the next ACN candidate in Lagos.
Tinubu would be shocked by the next guber
election in Lagos. BRF took away food from
3,000 families without making sufficient
alternatives for them, He is just wicked!

Tobby Cooty October 21, 2012 at 2:39 am

The moment Tinubu started quoting bible
verses at ACN's campaign in Akure, I knew
the lord needed him..with out doubt I believe
he might make a good preacher. Jagaban/
Godfather or whatever, there's still space for
you in the vineyard of christ…*MFM prayer
city awaits you*

PKA October 21, 2012 at 2:44 am

….. Ondo State people voted for 2nd Term of
their slavery under Mimiko and his one man
show Labour Party. We told Nigerians then
and they went ahead to vote for Jonathan aka
Mr. No Shoe when he was removing shoes
from their legs on Jan 1 of this year they were
all crying and telling them he doesn't give a
darm. So Ondo State people have tolled the
same part time will tell.

DR OBA October 21, 2012 at 2:48 am

Shame on Tinubu. The days of ACN
dominance in SW are numbered. We will
continue to educate people that have been
brainwashed by these regressive
thieves.Tinubu is so arrogant,Fashola who
once sacked all his doctors is more
arrogant.Aregbesola is another arrogant semi-
literate.The wellbred Fayemi is also
metarmorphosising into an unbriddled
personality.Ajumobi and Amosun are too
docile.ACN thinks it has monopolised media
propaganda,we are ready to use our brain &
exposure to work against that.To hell with
this Association of Corrupt Nonentities.
Shame on u Tinubu,the drug-baron.Lagos
will reject you soon no matter your 'juju'
rituals.
