candidly about the recent controversy surrounding pictures of him &
his son, Corde Broadus, smoking from a bong together.

"My kids can do whatever the hell they want. For me to say otherwise

Speaking on why he wants marijuana legalized, the rapper says, "Go to
Amsterdam or the Netherlands where it is legal and you see that the
crime rate is nonexistent, the murder rate is probably under 10
percent, people learn to get along! There are people riding on
bicycles being happy and it's because of the environment that's
provided by the legalization of marijuana."

LOS ANGELES (AFP) – A US judge ordered the alleged filmmaker behind a
video that sparked protests across Muslim countries detained without
bond Thursday, saying
there was a risk he would try to flee.

Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, the alleged director/producer of "Innocence
of Muslims," appeared in court after being arrested for breaching the
terms of his probation for a 2010
banking fraud conviction.

Prosecutor Robert Dugdale said the 55-year-old had allegedly made
eight breaches, including making false statements to probation
officers and using at least three different names. Judge Suzanne Segal
ruled that Nakoula, who has been

hiding since protests erupted over his film, be detained without bond,
saying he was a flight risk and a danger to the community. "The court
has a lack of trust in this defendant," she said.
Concerns have been raised for Nakoula's safety due to the widespread
anger his alleged video has provoked among Muslims, and his
hastily-arranged court appearance was held under tight security in
downtown LA.

The hearing was closed to the public, but journalists and anyone else
interested was allowed to follow proceedings via videoconference from
a separate building.

Nakoula — allegedly the real identity behind the pseudonym Sam Bacile,
listed as the director of "Innocence of Muslims" — was briefly taken
into custody earlier this month for questioning by his probation
officer.

He was traced to a home address in Cerritos, south of Los Angeles,
after international protests erupted against the 14- minute trailer
video posted online. The film depicting the Prophet Mohammed as a
thuggish deviant offended many Muslims, and sparked a wave of
anti-American protests that have cost several lives and saw mobs set
US missions, schools and businesses ablaze.

WAJE : ‘I MAY SIGN WITH CHOCOLATE CITY’

For months, the rumours of the gifted singer Waje joining powerhouse
record label Chocolate City has been circulating and while the label
has refused to confirm or dispel the news, Waje has opened up on what
is really going on.

'We are trying to see how we can work together. They have been a very
strong part of my career since 'One Naira' in the sense that they've

The pair trended on Twitter as news of their apparent romance spread

Latest News: Police arrest driver over conductor’s death

The police have arrested a bus driver at Shereti Village in Kabusa,
Federal capital Territory, for allegedly killing his conductor, Bala
Akuki, the News Agency of Nigeria reports.
The suspect was said to have fought the conductor for allegedly
stealing N5,000 from their daily till.According to a police source,
the suspect denied the allegation, saying that the conductor died of
stomach upset.

However, a neighbour told the police that the driver had a serious
fight with the conductor a night before the conductor died. The
neighbour said he over-heard the driver and the conductor
fighting in the night over the alleged missing N5,000.

"They were engaged in a serious fight,'' the neighbour was said to
have told the police. NAN learnt that preliminary investigations by
the police revealed that the conductor might have been strangled. The
source said the police would soon arraign the suspect.

Controversial Nollywood actor, Emeka Ike today, Thursday, September 27
disrupted the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) held in Lagos. He came in
