Teenager Stabs Mother To Death After Being Scolded For Playing Computer Game For Too Long
A teenage boy allegedly stabbed his mother to death on Wednesday after
she had scolded him for playing computer games into the early hours of
the morning, Thailand police has reported.
The boy allegedly stabbed his mother to death while she slept in her
bedroom, and seriously injured his sister who attempted to stop his
crime.
This took place in their Bangkok home at 2a.m after they had argued
about his late-night computer-game playing, Police Major Prayuth
Puengkaeha said.
The mother, Areeya Ketdi, 45, was stabbed about four times by her son
with a knife one-foot long. According to the initial investigation,
the youth was unhappy that his mother had not allowed him to play
computer games and scolded him for not helping with household chores.
Meanwhile, the boy's father and his cousins told police that he had
had autistic syndrome and been cured. However, he had a suppressed
personality and was always scolded by his mother.
He allegedly used to say he would want to kill his mother.
Authorities took the suspect to the Central Juvenile and Family Court
before sending him to another juvenile observation and protection
unit.
Public Health Ministry deputy permanent-secretary, Dr Apichai Mongkol
said the body releases dopamine hormones when a person is addicted to
games, in a similar fashion to being addicted to drugs.
Children at this age still lack emotional control, Dr Apichai said.
When denied what they are addicted to, they may lose control and hurt
others.

28-Years-Old Mother Enters Guinness World Records For Donating 87 GALLONS of Her BREAST MILK!
A 28-year-old woman, Alicia Richman, has been declared the new
Guinness World Record holder for "Most Breast milk Donated.
" Between June 2011 and March 2012, the 28-year-old mother of one
donated 11,115 ounces – or 694 pounds – of breast milk to charity,
according to Guinness. By volume, that's about 87 gallons.
In her testimony, Richman had said that after she gave birth in March
2011, she began pumping and storing her milk, and quickly realized she
was producing much more than her son could consume.
When two freezers were chock full of pumped milk, Richman contacted
the Mothers' Milk Bank of North Texas, a nonprofit that collects
breast milk donations for critically ill and premature infants in
need.
Amy Vickers, executive director of the milk bank, says in a press
release that Richman's donations have fed "hundreds, and more likely,
thousands of premature babies across the United States.
" Richman says she went for the Guinness record because she wanted to
raise awareness for the cause and encourage other women to donate to
milk banks.
In her words, Richman says "I'm so thankful that I'm able to help not
only my own baby, Drake, but all of the little babies who need it and
are sick," Richman told News 8. "It really feels amazing and I'm so
thankful that I'm able to do it."

ANINI: THE MOST FAMOUS ARMED ROBBER THAT EVER LIVED IN NIGERIA
Lawrence Nomanyagbon Anini 1960 – March 29, 1987 was a famous Nigerian
bandit who terrorised Benin City in the 1980s along with his sidekick
Monday Osunbor. He was captured and executed for his crimes.
Anini was born in a village about 20 miles from Benin City in present
day Edo State. He migrated to Benin at an early age, learned to drive
and became a skilled taxi driver in a few years.
He became known in Benin motor parks as a man who could control the
varied competing interest among motor park touts and operators.
He later dived into the criminal business in the city and soon became
a driver and transporter for gangs, criminal godfathers and thieves.
Later on, he decided to create his own gang and they started out as
car hijackers, bus robbers and bank thieves. Gradually, he extended
his criminal acts to other towns and cities far north and east of
Benin.
The complicity of the police is believed to have triggered Anini's
reign of terror in 1986. In early 1986, two members of his gang were
tried and prosecuted against an earlier under-the-table bribe induced
agreement with the police to destroy evidence against the gang
members.
The incident, and Anini's view of police betrayal, is believed to have
spurred retaliatory actions by Anini.
On August, 1986, a fatal bank robbery linked to Anini was reported in
which a police officer and a child were killed. That same month, two
officers on duty were shot at a barricade while trying to stop Anini's
car.
During a span of three months, he was known to have killed 9 police
officers. He wrote numerous letters to media houses using political
tones of Robin Hood-like words to describe his criminal acts.
On December 3, 1986, he was caught at a house off the main street of
Benin in the company of six women friends. Anini was shot in the leg,
transferred to a military hospital, and had one of his legs amputated.
The country's military leader, Ibrahim Babangida, demanded a speedy
trial. Anini was convicted of most of his charges and was executed on
March 29, 1987.
