FASHOLA: Beware ; MY WIFE Does Not have any FACEBOOK Account!

Gov. Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State, yesterday denied the
involvement or existence of any Facebook account for his wife,
Abimbola, the First Lady of the state.

According to a statement by the Special Adviser to the Governor on
Media,, Mr. Hakeem Bello, the First Lady of the state does not operate
a Facebook, Twitter or indeed any social media account.

"Perpetrators of the criminal act should desist henceforth or should
be ready to face the music when the long arm of the law catches up
with them.,"the Special Adviser warned.

Describing impersonation as a criminal offence punishable by law,
Hakeem warned unsuspecting members of the public should avoid falling
victims of fraudsters impersonating the First Lady on the facebook or
any social media outlet.

"For the avoidance of doubt, the First Lady of Lagos State, Dame
Emmanuella Abimbola Fashola does not operate any Facebook, Twitter or
indeed any social media account," he stated.

The warning became necessary following the recent alert over the
activities of impostors posing as the wife of the Governor of Lagos
State.

“Omnishambles” has been named word of the year by the Oxford English Dictionary.

"Omnishambles" has been named word of the year by the Oxford English Dictionary.

The word – meaning a situation which is shambolic from every possible
angle – was coined in 2009 by the writers of BBC political satire The
Thick of It. But it has crossed over into real life this year, said
the judges.

Eurogeddon Mummy porn Games maker Mobot Second screening Pleb "Pleb" –
an old word given new life by claims Conservative Chief Whip Andrew
Mitchell used it to describe police officers in Downing Street – was
also shortlisted.

He denied using the word, a derogatory term for the lower classes, but
was forced to resign as a minister. But it was omnishambles that most
impressed the judges. Fiona McPherson, one of the lexicographers on
the judging panel, said: "It was a word everyone liked, which seemed
to sum up so many of the events over the last 366 days in a beautiful
way.

"It's funny, it's quirky, and it has broken free of its fictional
political beginnings, firstly by spilling over into real politics, and
then into other contexts.

"If influence is any indication of staying power, it has already
staked its claim by being linguistically productive in its own right,
producing a number of related coinages.

"While many of them are probably humorous one-offs, their very
existence shows that the omnishambles itself has entered at least the
familiar parlance, if not quite the common parlance."

'Romneyshambles' Labour leader Ed Miliband, whose phrase "squeezed
middle" – referring to those hit hardest by falling living standards –
was word of the year in 2011, made the first recorded use of
omnishambles in the House of Commons in April.

"Over the last month we have seen the charity tax shambles, the
churches tax shambles, the caravan tax shambles and the pasty tax
shambles," said the Labour leader at Prime Minister's Questions.

"We are all keen to hear the prime minister's view as to why, four
weeks on from the Budget, even people within Downing Street are
calling it an omnishambles Budget."

The word swiftly took off as a favourite term of abuse for opposition
politicians attacking the government.

But it also mutated on social media into humorous new variants such as
"Romneyshambles" – used to describe gaffes by US presidential
candidate Mitt Romney during his visit to the UK – and
omnivoreshambles, referring to the row about a planned badger cull in
England and Wales.

Omnishambles was first heard at the end of an episode in the third
series of The Thick of It, during a characteristically foul-mouthed
rant by spin doctor Malcolm Tucker, played by Peter Capaldi.

There is no guarantee omnishambles, or any of the other shortlisted
words, will make it on to the pages of the Oxford English Dictionary.

CBN Orders BANKS to Stop CHARGING N100 for INTER-BANK ATM withdrawals

The Bankers' Committee of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, on Tuesday
13th November 2012, approved the immediate removal of the N100 charge
on customers who use the Automated Teller Machines of banks other than
theirs.

This is coming after lots of complains over the N100 charge especially
since the introduction of the CBN's cashless policy.

The Managing Director of First Bank, Bisi Onasanya told Channels TV at
the end of the Bankers' Committee meeting in Abuja that the decision
was in line with "popular trends" in other parts of the world.

"Presently when you use the ATM of a bank other than your bank, there
is a charge of N100 which is borne by the account holder. We have
decided that we will work out the modality and ensure that with
immediate effect we would pass on this cost to the respective banks
which bear the cost of providing services. No matter where you are
withdrawing your money from, you will not be subjected to any charge
for using the ATM."

According to him, the new policy does not cover withdrawals inside the
banking hall when the ATMs are off.

"But for transaction on what we call "not on us", when you are an FBN
customer and you use the ATM of a GTB bank, it is free and it will no
longer bear any cost.''

Mr. Onasanya said the free inter-bank ATM regime would become
effective immediately, pointing out, however, that the banks would
have to agree on the modalities for the implementation of the new
decision.

This sounds like good news and would go a long way in reducing long
queues at ATMs of banks who tend to have lots of customers.

Chris Brown - I don’t wanna lose everything ,that I’ve gained - Fallen Angel Lyrics to Satan

[Verse 1]
If I could take a trip to outer space
She would be the one I would see
When I get to heaven's gate
She would welcome me with her arms open wide, and her smile
Would shadow me brighter than the sun
She hasn't had a fair chance, so I'll give her one
Let me tell you who she is, yeah

[Chorus]
She's a fallen angel, sent from heaven up above
She's a fallen angel, waitin for me to love her, yeah
(She's) She's a fallen angel, take your judgment off her
I know, that she's a fallen angel

[Verse 2]
You know, maybe I should
Help her mend her broken wings
So she can fly again
But I don't wanna lose everything ,that I've gained
it's turnin me a selfish man (oh)
Cause without her my heart just don't go, no more (no more)
I couldn't take the pain of watchin her fly away
So say that you'll stay
She's mine

[Chorus]
She's a fallen angel, (ooh) sent from heaven up above
She's a fallen angel, waitin for me to love her, yeah
(She's) She's a fallen angel, so take your judgment off her
I know, that she's a fallen angel

[Verse 3]
Don't you
Baby don't you (don't you worry) worry
I'm gon help you (I'm gon help you ) fly
(I'm gon help you fly)
Just take me under your (take me under) wings,
And we can reach the (we can reach the) sky
(we can reach the sky)
Baby don't you (don't you worry) worry,
I'm gon help you (I'm gon help you ) fly
(I'm gon help you fly)
Yo mama, don't you (take me under) worry
you gon reach the (we can reach the) sky
(we can reach the sky)
She's a…

[Chorus]
She's a fallen angel, (hey hey) sent from heaven up above, just for me
She's a fallen angel, waitin for me to wrap my heart around her, know
(Know that she's) She's a fallen angel, makin due with all the judgment (no)
I know, that she's (yeah) a fallen angel (ooh ahh)

[Verse 4]
Baby I know
I know that they done hurt you
But I'm here
To take it all away
So if you let me…
You know what, just put your heart in my hands
And everything they say, I'll take it back
Like this…

[Verse 5]
You don't mean nothing, [reversed line]
I don't want ya, [reversed line]
I don't need ya, [reversed line]
Never loved ya, [reversed line]
You're nobody, [reversed line]
And never make it, [reversed line]
You're a mistake (ooh), [reversed line]

telecommunications operators in the country, the Nigerian
Communications Commission (NCC), has stopped all forms of promotional

The statement above, is below by Tony Ojobo, Director, Public Affairs

having observed that these promotions have increased the number of
minutes available to subscribers for use within a limited period of
time thereby creating congestion in the networks as subscribers try to
use up the available minutes within the stipulated time.

ii. That on-net calls were now being offered by Operators at tariffs
well below the prevailing inter-connect rates thereby introducing
anti-competitive practices and behaviour.
