Iyabo Ojo turns 35 : Agbani Darego hits 30 Today

Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo turned 35 on Friday, December 21, 2012.
The petite actress, popular amongst Yoruba movie lovers, started as an
actor in English/Igbo movies. She joined the industry in 1997, after
she was introduced to Keppy Ekpeyong by Bimbo Akintola . She featured
in the movie, Satanic along with Foluke Daramola and other acts.
She got married in 1999 and presently has two kids, Festus, 13 and
Priscsilla, 12. She has since featured in over 50 movies and produced
a few including the recently premiered, Arinzo .


Today is the 30th birthday of the leggy model and ex-beauty queen,
Agbani Darego . Born Ibiagbanidokikubo Asenite Darego , she rose to
fame after winning the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria pageant in 2001.
This got her a ticket to represent Nigeria in the Miss Universe in
Puerto Rico where she came seventh. November of the same year, Darego
did Nigeria and Africa proud by winning the highly coveted Miss World
pageant. She's the first-ever black-African Miss World. Since her
hand-over in 2002, Darego has continued with modelling, signing up as
the face of L'Oreal cosmetics and an ambassador of Arik Airline . She

Report reaching me reveals that, Kim Kardashian and her man will be
celebrating the holidays together this year with the whole Kardashian
clan in L.A., and Kim's little bro Rob is dishing on how the whole
family will be decking the halls. There is nothing special about this

Breaking News : Suicide bomber hits Airtel office in kano

Two suicide bombers drove a rigged car into the Airtel offices in
Mallam Kato Square in Kano before exploding early morning today in
Kano, killing a yet to identified number of people. A source close to
joint security forces in the state, told Channels Television that one
suicide bomber hit the premises of Airtel on Mallam Kato Square,
killing one unidentified person. "Its impact has affected Singer
market which has now been closed down by the joint security forces" he
added.


Sources also confirmed that another suicide bomber hit the MTN
headquarters at Post Office Road about 30 minutes after the attack on
Airtel's office. The number of casualty at MTN's office is yet to be
confirmed but it was certain that staff and security officials on
night shift are still in the office when the office was hit by the
suicide bomber. "There may be casualties, but at the moment I cannot
disclose to you how many because we are still investigating the
matter."


The area is now completely surrounded by the Joint Task Force (JTF)
and movement is restricted in the environ. Thought casualty figure is
sketchy, but report says the multi-million naira headquarters is still
in flames. However, sporadic gunshots are heard around the area.

Halle Berry and Oliver Martinez Leaves to France without Nahla

She may not be allowed to move Nahla to France permanently, but she
will be bringing her there for the holidays! Halle Berry and Olivier
Martinez were snapped jetting out of Los Angeles International Airport
on Friday afternoon, and while the Oscar winning actress carried
daughter's Nahla's pink luggage with her, the little girl was still
with her dad, Gabriel Aubry 'halle berry Ex (who fought with Oliver

A source now confirmed that Nahla will be joining Halle and Olivier
in Paris a little bit later next week after spending time with Gabriel
in his native Canada. Halle was wearing her engagement ring, so even
though all the drama (losing out her last custody battle, the fist
fight and subsequent restraining orders between Gabriel and Olivier),
it looks like their relationship is still going strong!

Fire is presently ravaging the Lagos head office of the National
Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC). An eye
witness who confirmed the fire incident said both the federal and
state fire fighters have been contacted but they are yet to arrive'
the source also said the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
The Lagos NAFDAC office is situated at 3/5 Oshodi/Apapa Expressway,

Gangnam Style breaks YouTube record with 1 BILLION hits

Hot to trot: Psy, pictured at the American Music Awards in November,
has broken YouTube records with his song Gangnam Style South Korean
rapper Psy has reached a new milestone on YouTube.


The viral star's video for Gangnam Style has reached 1 billion views,
according to YouTube's own counter. It's the first time any clip has
surpassed that mark on the streaming service owned by Google Inc.


It shows the enduring popularity of the self-deprecating video that
features Park Jae-sang's giddy up-style dance moves. The video has
been available on YouTube since July 15, averaging more than200
million views per month. Justin Bieber's video for Baby held the
previous YouTube record at more than 800 million views.
