Justin Bieber cancer saga: Did fans shave their heads for nothing

The internet pranksters at the 4chan message boards schemed up an
elaborate hoax to fool Justin Bieber fans into thinking that their
idol has cancer - which he certainly doesn't. Not cool, 4chan.

The tricksters faked a tweet from Entertainment Tonight's official
account, reading "Pop star Justin Bieber was diagnosed with cancer
earlier this morning. Bieber fans are shaving their heads to show
their support."

They doctored a few photos of young girls with shaved heads to make it
appear that they were holding signs reading "Bald for Bieber."

They then created false images of more tweets -- one from Justin,
thanking ET for their support, and tweets from Kanye West and Chris
Brown offering Justin words of encouragement.

Again, it was all a hoax. Justin's bodyguard, Kenny Hamilton, denied
the rumors on Twitter shortly after they began. But thanks to Tumblr,
the rumors spread like wildfire. Videos like the one below, were
created.

21 CULTISTS ARRESTED FOR FORCING FEMALE STUDENTS TO ACT LESBIAN MOVIE AND RECORDING IT

The Nigerian Army in Enugu has paraded 21 Enugu State University of
Science and Technology students for allegedly torturing and forcing
some female students into lesbian acts.

The students, most of who confessed to being cultists, told
journalists that they took video shots of the lésbian act because they
had been offered money by some influential Nigerians.

The idea, the suspects said, was to take tapes of the scenes to their
partners in Europe.

Shortly before parading the suspects on Saturday, the General Officer
Commanding 82 Division, Maj. Gen. Sarkin Yaki Bello, who spoke through
the Assistant Director, Army Public Relations, Lt. Col. Sagir Musa,
said the cultists, were arrested in their hideouts at Agbani on the
outskirts of Enugu between July 8 and 12, 2011.

Bello said the patrol team of 103 Battalion moved to the ESUT
following persistent gunshots at the institution on July 4 and
arrested one of the masterminds of the crime, Mr Franklin Anikwe, with
five rounds of ammunition.

The GOC said he had directed that a thorough investigation be carried
out in order to fish out the pepetrators.

He said, "It was the preliminary investigation conducted by the
division's intelligence group that led to the arrest of the 19 other
suspects. Some of the items recoverd from them are four locally made
pistols, 10AA cartridges and video clips where the female students
were forced to have illicit stuff with themselves during the raid."

Also recovered were 10 mobile telephone handsets, including the one
used for recording the dirty scenes.

today when he was beaten to stupour by Mopol for attending a party he
was billed to perform late.


Report is reaching Y! News from the ancient city that the top Ibadan
socialite who engaged Adewale to perform got his Mobile Police to
teach him a lesson about punctuality.

As Adewale stepped into the venue, he was apprehended by the Mopol and
beaten blue black but for the guests who pleaded on his behalf he
would have been lynched.

NURTW MEMBERS, PDP SUPPORTERS CLASH IN IBADAN – 20 INJURED

NURTW members, PDP supporters clash in Ibadan – 20 Injured – Some
members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) and
supporters of some chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in
Oyo State engaged in a free-for-all, on Friday, at the home of the
Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Alhaji Abdul-Azeez Arisekola-Alao, in
Ibadan.

A sallah visit to the businessman had gone awry after the PDP
supporters were attacked by members of the NURTW, led by the caretaker
chairman, Alhaji Taofeek Oyerinde, also known as Fele.

The PDP supporters, numbering about 100, wearing uniform ankara, were
said to have been led to Arisekola-Alao's house by two factional
leaders of the party in the state, Senator Teslim Folarin and Alhaji
Hazeem Gbolarumi.

The people were said to have occupied all the space in the expansive
living room of the businessman before the arrival of more guests.

Trouble started when the state governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi and
his entourage arrived in the residence amid cheers by a crowd of his
admirers.

As soon as the governor arrived in the living room, the PDP
supporters, especially the women among them, were said to have chanted
anti-Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) slogans with talking drummers
adding to their excitement.

In a reaction to what they considered a slight on the governor, the
union members, led by Oyerinde, allegedly descended on the PDP
supporters, beating them, not sparing the females too.

Mr Taiwo Oke, who was the chairman of Ona-Ara Local Government Area
during the administration of former Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala, was
among those that suffered injuries during the attack.

He was hit in the head several times, after his cap had been removed,
before some people pleaded for him.

Several chinaware, from which the PDP supporters had eaten Sallah
meals, were damaged in the melee that lasted about 50 minutes.

The host had to mount a table in the living room to call for a
'ceasefire', reminding them of their purpose for visiting him.

The PDP supporters were later driven out of the living room by the
union members, while Folarin and others watched helplessly.

When Governor Ajimobi left the residence, Folarin, Gbolarumi and
others went into a closed-door meeting with the Aare Musulumi inside a
room upstairs.
