Maybe this isn't supposed to be news but if you really did know Justin
Bieber and Selena Gomez, you'd agree that this is a great piece of
news – not the breaking up aspect.

First of, Bieber is arguably the most popular and richest teen singer
in the world while Gomez is an accomplished teen singer/actress who
featured on Barney and Friends for two years and even more famous for
her portrayal of Alex Russo, the protagonist in the Emmy Award-winning
television series, 'Wizards of Waverly Place.'

So single ladies, get your swags on because teenage sensation Bieber,
is a single man again and that won't be for long. If you listen
closely you'll hear the sound of tween and teenage girls around the
world shrieking with joy by this news.

According to E! News reports, the 18-year-old pop star split from
girlfriend of nearly two years, Selena Gomez, 20, after they first
went public with their romance in February 2011 when they attended the
Vanity Fair Oscar party together.

Sources said the couple broke up about a week ago, claiming that
"because of their crazy schedules, it was getting harder and harder to
maintain a relationship."

It sounds like Gomez might have been the one to pull the plug on the
relationship, but young love is a fickle thing and Bieber may have
already moved on as the teen singer has now been linked to Victoria's
Secret model Barbara Palvin, 19, after she tweeted a photo of the two
of them going to see "The Lion King" on Broadway.

Movie Review BLACKBERRY (Agogo Ipe)

The film, Blackberry, written and produced by Adio Majester and
Directed by Abbey Lanre is another package from Wastayo Films Nigeria
Limited.

Blackberry tells the story of a young struggling boy, who later grew
up to become a talented Fuji musician in person of Remi Aluko. Remi is
a real life celebrity Fuji Musician.

As a showbiz artiste, which he also acted in the film, Remi didn't see
anything wrong in accepting a gift of Blackberry phone from one of his
overwhelmed fans, who felt like appreciating the musician's talent but
has run out of cash at the event.

However, the fan is a member of a notorious armed robbery gang, which
invaded a home and carted away millions of naira, the Blackberry phone
and killed their victim.

The phone was eventually traced and found out to be with the popular
musician. Aluko was eventually arrested and went through torture for
an offence he did not commit in a police cell.

To discover what eventually happened after this, lovers of Nigerian
films would need to get a copy of the film.

One of the flaws of the film is the picture quality, which is below
standard at this material time. Also, the phone used as Blackberry is
of low standard, one would have expected a better phone in modern
films.

The party scene, where the musician was dashed the Blackberry, was
obviously done in a hurry. Apart from the seat of the armed robbery
gang, no other seat was at the party and no money was sprayed the
musician.

Also, it was wrong for Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, another Fuji artiste in the
film, to advise Remi to give such a gift to his manager or someone
else in the future. He should have advised him to do away with such
gifts.

The movie is really not properly recorded as there was noise in some
of the scenes.

Blackberry featured the likes of Dayo Amusa, Remi Aluko, Wasiu Alabi,
Odunlade Adekola, Kareem Adepoju and other notable actors.

BBC puts Wizkid on stage in UK

Three days after Ayodele Balogun, aka Wizkid, picked up two  gongs at
The Headies, the British Broadcasting Corporation has selected him to
perform alongside top international acts at its 1xtra Live Concert.

Billed to hold on Nov. 12 at the Brixton Academy in London, Wizkid
will feature along with Trey Songs, Kenderick Lamar, Tulisa and Angel
in the concert currently enjoying publicity in Europe.

Ice Prince and ‘Bonang Matheba SA MODEL to Host CHANNEL O AWARDS!

The 2012 Channel O Music Video Awards will be hosted by suave Nigerian
rapper Ice Prince and South African top model Bonang Matheba.

According to organizers, 'Bonang and Ice Prince will bring their
unique individuality when hosting Africa's most prestigious music
awards'.

The awards will hold on Saturday, November 17 at Walter Sisulu Square
in Kliptown, Soweto.

13 Nigerian artistes receive nods this year, including pop singers
2face, D'banj, Psquare, Wizkid, Wande Coal, Davido, Mo'Cheddah, Brymo,
and Orezi. Highlife evangelist Flavour, R&B star Tiwa Savage and
rappers Naeto C and Ice Prince are also up for nominations.

'I feel really honoured and super excited, I think I am more excited
than anyone who has ever hosted/co-hosted the show because it's a huge
privilege to be hosting the biggest award show in Africa', Ice Prince
says.

Last year, Nigerian R&B singer Banky W and South African O-Access
presenter Dineo Moeketsi hosted the awards.
