The stellar defender affirmed that his retirement was with immediate
effect and while stating the reason for his unexpected retirement, the
player blamed it on the FA who he claimed have made his position in
the team "untenable".
Meanwhile in a related development, Branislav Ivanovic has blamed John
Terry's retirement on brothers Rio and Anton Ferdinand. In a tweet
this evening, the Chelsea player via the handle Branislav Ivanovic
