Nollywood actor Emeka Rollas has been declared the new President of
the Actors' Guild of Nigeria (AGN) today Friday, September, 2012
following a keenly contested election which took place yesterday.
The announcement was made by the electoral committee this evening.
Rollas who was a secretary during former president Segun Arinze's
administration edged out another electoral candidate Ibinabo
Fiberisima who was earlier rumoured to have won the elections.
Rollas, an actor-director made his way into Nollywood in 1999. He has
acted over 30 other movies.
In April he was honoured with a US ambassadorship title along with
Stella Damasus.
