2 contestants evicted from Gulder Ultimate Search Season 9

Failure on the part of two female contestants to clear the first real
hurdle in the 2012 Gulder Ultimate Search Season 9 has earned them an
eviction from the show, as well as erasing their chances of ending up
as the Ultimate Woman.

One of them, Kofya Brown, 25, was evicted in the episode five of the
TV reality show after failing the mental endurance challenge.

The contenders were instructed to cross a lake, using a canoe as a
bridge. They came across a set of symbols, which they were required to
memorise. They were to get three wooden stacks comprising a replica of
the symbols, place them at different locations on the task ground and
arrange the symbols on a work station provided for them in the format
that the original symbols were arranged.

Brown could not complete the task and she was booted out.

But the second evicted contestant, Ayo Ojueromi, a student of the
Nigerian Institute of Journalism in Lagos, was either careless or
simply unlucky.

She was shown the way out of Gulder Ultimate Search 9 not because she
lost a task, but because she could not find the Golden Key entrusted
in her care.

All the 12 contenders were handed Golden Keys by Chidi Mokeme, the GUS
9 anchor man, who instructed them to always be in possession of the
keys.

Ayo was livid with rage when she failed to find her own. She and her
fellow contestants had thought the anchorman wouldn't notice.
Unfortunately, he did, and she had to leave the jungle as a result.

However, ten contestants are still in the game, fighting to see who
will eventually find the fabled Gatekeeper's Fortune.
