PHOTOS:DIDIER DROGBA DOUBLE CAUSE TROUBLE OVER SENEGAL VS IVORY COAST MATCH

An Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match between Senegal and Cote
d'Ivoire was cancelled Saturday after home fans set fire and threw
debris in the stadium.

Home fans started the riot when the match was 15 minutes from the end
and visiting Cote d'Ivoire were 2-0 ahead, with second half goals by
Didier Drogba which meant Senegal would be eliminated following their
first-leg 4-2 loss unless a miracle happened in the last minutes.

The match was stopped after 76 minutes of play and then officially
abandoned due to the crowd trouble 40 minutes later. Police had to use
tear gas to disperse the crowd while Ivory Coast fans were allowed on
to the pitch to protect them from the Senegal fans that were freely
hurling tin cans and water bombs.
