Wada received first aid at the Lokoja Specialist Hospital, and the
doctors said his leg is "totally broken". They revealed that Wada was
rushed into the intensive care unit, with a severely fractured femur.
However, the doctors confirmed that he is in good condition and did
not sustain injuries to his head or spinal cord.
The accident, which happened on the Lokoja-Ajaokuta road, claimed the
lives of one of his aides and left two others injured.
Governor Wada, has been flown to the National Hospital in Abuja, with
a helicopter arranged by the State Government and a source said he was
in "serious pains".
