Ronaldo deserves to win the Ballon D’Or....Is almost impossible to stop-ROBERTO MANCINI

The Portuguese superstar returns to Manchester on Wednesday for the
first time since leaving United three years ago as Real Madrid head
for the Etihad Stadium.

Real are on the cusp of qualifying for the knockout phase and anything
other than a City win will see Mancini's side go out in the group
stage for the second successive year.

And Mancini admits that Ronaldo – who he tips to win the Ballon D'Or –
is almost impossible to stop.

"How do we stop him? Maybe we'll call the police," joked the City boss.

"He's a top player and, when you come up against someone who can score
one or two goals every game, it is difficult. We will need to
concentrate.

"For me Ronaldo deserves to win the Ballon D'Or. He scored so many
goals last year and that helped Madrid finish above Barcelona.

"But I hope he can have a bad night on Wednesday. Maybe they can leave
him at home."

Mancini insists that Madrid and Ronaldo will not take City lightly,
despite their struggles in Europe.

"For him it will be a big night – but it's also an important game for
Madrid. They still have a chance of going through to the second
stage," he said.

"Players like Ronaldo and Messi are difficult to mark. You can do good
work but they are still players who can score in every game. That's
why they are the best players in the world."

Mancini believes City's disappointing Champions League campaign can be
traced back to the final minutes of their opening game in Madrid when,
with six minutes to go, they allowed a 2-1 lead to slip as they went
down 3-2.

Mancini said: "If we had come back from the Bernabeu with a good
result it would probably have changed this group for us.

"When you are 2-1 up with four minutes to go, you should be very
strong to close the game."

David Beckham Announced the End of His Footballing Career

2007!

In a statement he indicated, I've had an incredibly special time
playing for the LA Galaxy, however, I wanted to experience one last
challenge before the end of my playing career."

He added, "I don't see this as the end of my relationship with the

Paris Hilton Causes Religious War And 'Insults Mecca' By Opening Store In The Holy City

Paris Hilton is no stranger to controversy and scandal, but now the
socialite has managed to upset an entire religion!

The hotel heiress best known for sex tapes, flesh-baring skimpy
outfits and brushes with the law has sparked outrage in the Middle
East by opening a new shop in the Saudi Arabian Holy City of Mecca.

Hilton made the announcement on November 14 that her bag and accessory
collections were to be sold there, tweeting: "Loving my beautiful new
store that just opened at Mecca Mall in Saudi Arabia!"

The Twitter message quickly sparked an angry backlash complaining
about 31-year-old Paris pimping her products in the holy land, with a
slew of messages from Saudis voicing their disgust at the business
venture.

"Wahhabis at work! Historic religious sites in Medina are being
destroyed, while Paris Hilton opens a new store in Mecca mall," wrote
one critic, while another commented: "So Paris Hilton opened a handbag
store in MECCA? The world is a corrupt place at the moment. Someone
please send me to Mars."

The shopping center, also referred to as Makkah Mall, will be Hilton's
5th store in Saudi Arabia and her 42nd world wide. Paris managed to
insult the whole gay community in September by going on a homophobic
rant in a New York City taxi cab.

UNIVERSITY OF ABUJA shut down due to STUDENTS protests over the non-ACCREDITATION of some courses

For the second time this year, authorities of the University of Abuja
have shut down the institution following students' protest. Despite
the fact that second semester examination was already underway, the
students' protest which led to major roads and huge traffic congestion
resulted in the institution being shut down.

According to Sahara Reporters, the students went on a rampage to
protest the non-accreditation of some of their courses. The
accreditation panel of the National University Commission had recently
refused to certify some of the courses being run by the university.
Some of the courses are in the Faculty of Engineering, Agriculture and
Sciences.

The protest, which commenced at 6:00 AM, was started by students from
the Faculty of Engineering. Many students soon joined in blocking the
main gate of the school to protest harsh conditions of education and
general mismanagement of the university by officials the students
regard as incompetent and irresponsible.

Some students said the university is in poor condition as inhabitants
of the girls hostel lack of water supply which forces them to fetch
water from the boys hostel. Student leaders of the protest said the
school is also bedeviled with over populated classes, cancelled
lectures, lack of library facilities and lecture halls as well as the
refusal of the school authorities to allow for independent student
union elections.

The protests quickly spread as several students took to the street
just as some of their colleagues began sitting for their first
semester examinations, which ought to start on Monday. The protest led
to the cancellation of examination in various classes slated for the
day as lecturers and invigilators abandoned the two campuses to
safety.

It would be recalled that in April, the management of the institution
closed the University after a violent protest by students resulted in
a breakdown of law and order in the school community.

The students had protested the suspension of four courses offered by
the University - Medicine, Veterinary medicine, Engineering and
Agriculture which failed to get accreditation from the NUC.

It is hoped that the relevant authorities would look into the cause of
protests and find a lasting solution soon. It is bad enough that the
students were so disturbed by the non-accreditation of their courses
and poor standards of education that they had to take their protests
to the streets. Shutting down the University would only result in
wasting useful time and unnecessarily prolong the students stay at the
University.

REV. KING APPEARS IN COURT After 5 Years Death Sentence

It has been five years since the General-Overseer of the Christian
Praying Assembly, Chukwuemeka Ezeugo, a.k.a Rev. King was convicted
and sentenced to death by Justice Joseph Oyewole of Ikeja High court.
However, the convict was in court again yesterday to appeal against
the death penalty on him.

It could be recalled that the infamous Pastor was arraigned on
September 26, 2006. He was later convicted and sentenced to death by
hanging on January 11, 2007 for charges of murder and attempted
murder.

At the hearing of his appeal, Mr. Olalekan Ojo, who handled his brief,
while adopting his written address as well as his reply brief, urged
the court to set aside the judgment of the trial court.

The prosecuting party; Lagos State government, represented by
Solicitor-General, Mr. Lawal Pedro, SAN, however, urged the court to
uphold Justice Oyewole's verdict. "We urge your Lordships to dismiss
this appeal". Pedro said.

During the trail of Ezeugo, the prosecuting counsel had argued that
the convict poured petrol on the diseased, Uzor and five others. Uzoh
died August 2, 2006 , 11 days after the incident.

But Ojo, counsel to the convict, had disagreed, claiming that Ezeugo
was not guilty of the crime and was not present when the incident
happened. He also argued that the deceased had in two statements she
made after the incident and before her death, stated that she got
burnt in a generator accident and that the cleric was not responsible
for her injuries, yet they were not admitted in evidence.

The lawyer said that Justice Oyewole's refusal to admit the exhibits
tendered before him led to a great miscarriage of justice, thus the
verdict of a death sentence should be reconsidered.

TB JOSHUA Sponsors Nigerian Students for PhD in OXFORD UNIVERSITY for £100,000 (N26m)

Nigerian Pastor T.B. Joshua, well known for his expansive
philanthropic endeavours, shocked congregants at his church, The
Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN).

on Sunday 18th November 2012 when it was revealed he has sponsored a
Nigerian student to study a PhD in the University of Oxford to the
tune of £100,000, approximately N26 million.
Miss Yinka Oduwole, who introduced herself as one of the youth who was
brought up in The SCOAN and worked there extensively, testified how
she had gained admission to study a PhD in Engineering Science in
Oxford University, UK after a successful Master's Programme in
University College London (UCL). Yinka, who was equally sponsored in
her Master's Degree in Broadband Communication in UCL in which she
came out with a distinction, said Prophet T.B.

Joshua and Emmanuel TV Partners had paid the sum of £100,000 to enable
her to study for a PhD in the prestigious Oxford University."My advice
to youth all over the world is that they should pray as if everything
depends on God and work as if everything depends on them," Yinka, also
a First-Class graduate from the University of Lagos, told the
congregation and viewers worldwide on Emmanuel TV, equally counselling
the youth to find a job in the church and actively engage in godly
activities.

TB Joshua also revealed in the service how footballer Ogenyi Onazi,
the SS Lazio starlet who was recently promoted to the Super Eagles of
Nigeria and scored on his debut against
Venezuela, was brought up in the church and worked there as well
before attaining his current sporting success.

Joshua revealed how he had sponsored Onazi and his colleague Sani
Emmanuel to trial in clubs around the world including Premier League
giants Chelsea and Tottenham, before arriving in SS Lazio, where he is
currently playing for the senior team.

Joshua revealed that close to $1m was spent in this process, to ensure
the duo went to the right club to reach the heights of their
potential. According to Joshua, the reward for raising up such young
people to become leaders of tomorrow in every field of expertise is
immeasurable in monetary or material terms.

"What you make happens for others, God makes happen for you. You are
raised to raise others," Joshua exhorted the crowd, counselling them
to consider the future of their own children and what they were doing
with their lives.

Forbes estimated that Joshua has spent up to $ 20m in charitable
activities alone in the last three years. Thousands of less privileged
students are currently studying in universities across Nigeria and
around the world courtesy of SCOAN's scholarship program.

Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez Spotted Together After 2012 AMAs in Romance

Ah, young love. It looks like Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have
reunited yet again this weekend--but this time, no drama. Multiple
eyewitnesses tell our source that the former (and maybe soon
rekindled?) couple were spotted leaving the Nokia Theatre together
hand-in-hand (!) after the 2012 American Music Awards tonight. If
you're replaying the awards show in your head to try and remember
seeing Gomez in the crowd, don't.

She wasn't there. One source explains that the former Wizards of
Waverly Place actress, who was dressed casually in jeans and a dark
top, must have arrived at the end of the show because she was nowhere
in the theater. Once Biebs was done taking press photos, off they
want.

Before meeting up with Selena, however, the singer had a different
lady on his arm: his mom. Awww! This would be the perfect end to
Bieber's night--the 18-year-old walked away with three American Music
Awards: Favorite Pop/Rock Artist, Album and Artist of the Year.

are still largely the same since his last media chat. The president's
handling of the the flooding which ravaged parts of the country and
its aftermath would be an additional issue for discussion.

Send in questions via twitter handle @mediachatng or via SMS to
+2347026076865 during the presidential media chat

During the two-hour programme which will be broadcast live in major
government media between 7p.m. to 9p.m, "a representative selection of
the most significant questions received will be presented to President
Jonathan for his response," his spokesman, Reuben Abati, said.

20.55

The media chat ends, with the president assuring that he, with his
vice president and team, will "leave something behind (by the end of
his four year tenure) that Nigerians will be proud of."

20.52

"God willing, we'll stop stealing of our crude oil," President Jonathan.

20.51

Crude oil theft vs Subsidy: "Crude oil stealing is different from
subsidy," President Jonathan said. He added that one could find a
correlation where if crude oil is not stolen, government will make
more money and pay for subsidy easily.

20.48

"We want to bring experts… to sit down and analyse what is the problem
with the aviation sector," Jonathan said. "There will be a retreat on
the Aviation sector in January 2013."

20.47

The First Lady: "She is fine, she was with us in service today," the
president said. "She is fine."

Obama's victory.

20.37

20.36

The anchor announces the end of the media chat.

20.31

The president said he will soon take a final decision on Lagos-Ibadan
express-way concessioned to Bicourtney. The company does not appear to
be in a position to execute the project, the president said. He added
he will not allow Nigerians suffer for a concession that was not
properly entered into.

20.29

Fourth Twitter question is on power and roads. "I will be the best
president," he said, reaction to the question which was asked with a
caveat that any president that fixes Nigeria's power and road issues
becomes the best.

20.26

"I even eat two times a day, breakfast and dinner; and the food I eat
is not very expensive," President Jonathan.

20.25

Discussion moves on to the expenditure of the State House on feeding
and ancillary services. The presidents defends the expenditure citing
what is spent on dinners in other countries like Ethiopia.

"There is a lot of misconception about the State House," he said but
he did not offer more clarification for the misconception.

Jonathan and his team meant well for this nation." – President
Jonathan

laws on corruption. "It is better to be slow and do the right thing
than hurry and do the wrong thing," the president replied, avoiding
reasons why indicted corrupt patrons are not prosecuted.

20.08

The discussion moves back to corruption cases and Nigeria's
willingness to enforce laws with questions from Martins Oloja.

think any other person has done that," President Jonathan said.

"If you keep money on a table where there are so many people and the
money is disappearing, why not keep it in a shelve?" President
Jonathan's idiom in defence of total deregulation of the oil industry
in Nigeria.

19.54

He said free and fair election is a prerequisite for fight against
corruption and his government is focused on getting that done. He
cited Ondo and Edo elections as examples.

19.52

Third question from Twitter is about corruption and low trial
frequency. "I can assure Nigerians and the global community that this
government is fighting corruption frontally," the president replied.

19.50

The president sees a growing trend in the private sector. He said more
companies have registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission and
Manufacturers Association of Nigeria.

"Even the capacity utilisation (in industries) has increased a little,
not significantly…," he said. "I never promised to reduce poverty. I
promised to create wealth."

19.49

in (to farming)," President Jonathan.

19.47

The second Twitter question is about jobs and the president said "we

and all the fuel are from Nigeria, yet there is fuel queue in Lagos,"
he said blaming the human factor for the current scarcity of fuel in
Nigeria.

19.35

Fuel queues: The president returns the question to the journalist – "I
should be asking you why (licences for building of refineries are not
used by owners)?" he said. "You are a journalist, you should
investigate."

19.33

Discussion moves on to fuel subsidy issues. The president said he was
misquoted in some instances. The president said he has made provisions
for subsidy on petrol in 2013 budget, allaying fears that subsidy
might be withdrawn next year.

19.30

The president is asking for more time for himself and cabinet to work
before he is faced with the question of whether he will run for
elections in 2015 or not.

19.29

The president argues that in all the states where his party have lost,
the contestants where all from the "PDP family".

19.27

"PDP is doing wonderfully well. It is dangerous for this country if
PDP should win all the states," President Jonathan said in reply to Mr
Oloja's question.

19.26

Discussion returns to politics as Martins Oloja, one of the panellists
asks if the president is worried that his party have lost elections
recently. "PDP (the president's party) is doing very well," the
president replied.

19.24

The presidency and the National Assembly currently disagrees on the
best oil benchmark for the 2013 budget. While the presidency wants 75
USD, the lawmakers wants it higher, at 85 USD.

19.23

Discussion moves on to oil benchmark. The president said its is not
just an arithmetic but tied to other parameters, not just the oil
price.

19.19

"Mr President will not influence anything to favour Bayelsa or any
other state" President Jonathan said.

19.18

The president now speaking about the boarder dispute between Bayelsa,
his home state, and neighbouring River state. He said he has directed
all relevant agencies to resolve the dispute.

proper for me now to begin to impose my ideas," President Jonathan on
ongoing constitution review by lawmakers.

19.11

President Jonathan said he will speak last on the components of the
current amendment to the constitution. "It is too early to make
comments," he said.

19.10

The first question is about the current amendment of the constitution
by the National Assembly. The president said the National Assembly
review process is the right thing to do. President Jonathan advised
proponents of Sovereign National Conference to partner with the
National Assembly on constitution review.

18.55

Highlights of last Presidential media chat: President Jonathan said he
has not visited Borno state, the center of Boko Haram attacks, because
the Maiduguri airport was not functional at the time he planned to
visit.

Selena Gomez Hangs Out With Taylor Swift After Fight With Justin Bieber

Look out Justin Bieber! Your on-again-off-again girlfriend Selena
Gomez is hanging out with Taylor Swift who has this habit of writing
songs about every ex-boyfriend.

Will Taylor now help Selena compose such a ballad? This doesn't look
good for the Biebs.

And making matters more complicated, with Selena, 20, not expected to
attend Sunday's American Music Awards, three-time
nominee/performer/presenter Bieber, 18, may be seated in the audience
with Taylor.

But back to the girls....Selena and Taylor met up for dinner at L.A.'s
Osteria La Buca and seemed to have had a grand time

They surely talked about Selena's epic fight with Bieber the night
before, when she locked him out of her house.

Of course, Taylor, 22, recently broke up with Conor Kennedy, 18, so
she and Selena surely had a lot to giggle about. Oh, the immaturity of
those teenage boys!

9ice- Nigeria Music is Beat , it's better we to go back to the days of Plantashun Boiz.

9ice, real names Abolore Akande is one of the artistes that brought
pride to singing in their mother tongues. The brave act was not only
applauded, he became role models to many
upcoming acts trying to sound like. Lately, the super star has been
out of the radar except for the negative stories making the rounds in
different newspapers and magazines.

Upon his arrival from the UK, he sat down with Seun Apara to give
answers to all the stories that have termed him controversial
including plans to drop new songs and his new album.

Was it a deliberate act to stay off the scene for a while?
Well, I have been involved with other projects. I was busy with a
movie project where I played a major role and that took lots of time.
I also travelled to UK to shoot four videos which I will be releasing
as a compilation in a matter of weeks. I shot videos for Attitude and
3310 from my latest album, Basorun Gaa. Also shot videos for Get Into
It and Ike Kan, two of the four singles I will be releasing soon.

What about the four singles you are releasing?
I titled the four singles I'm releasing as 'Obawon', 'Ikekan', 'Get
into it' and 'I Dare You'. The motives behind the four songs are that
we are entering into the festive period and people need to party and
enjoy. Aside that, there is a need for re-think of how they spent
their lives from January to December. The four singles coming out is
also to whet the appetites of the fans for my next album coming out in
March 15 next year but before then, the Alapomeji All Star album will
drop in December.

What do you intend to achieve with these new singles?
The overall achievement basically is to be at the forefront because I
have been quiet for a while now in the industry. It's not going to be
over until it is over and as a result, we need to keep the brand
going. 'Obawon' is all about trying to reframe your identity or your
privilege in the industry and I Dare You' is another word that people
uses a lot; I dare you to slap me or I dare you to call my name. I am
daring people to say one or two things about me. I want a reaction
from them.

So what will happen after if they dare you?
Then I will react What are the concepts behind your new videos? They
are going to be historical videos. For instance, not everybody will
understand what we mean by 'Ike Kan'. So we are trying to explain what
'Ike kan' means in the video and same thing for 'Get into It'. The
videos were directed by Musa, the same guy that directed Wizkid and
Wande coal's latest videos. We are releasing the four videos together
as a compilation CD with a concert to accompany it.

The whole idea behind the concert is just to drive publicity to what
we are releasing so that the fans can go out there and get it. You
don't just release the singles and be silent about it.
You need to let people hear about it and also perform it for the
people that will be in attendance. This will go a long way in putting
it in the mouth of people. I will be supported by
other Alapomeji acts like Alabi and Seriki.

When is the concert coming up?
It will be in second week of December but no specific date yet. The
concert will take place at Civic Center. The superlative concert is
basically for industry people and the press as
well. It will be strictly b y invitation.

What is the title of your on-coming album?
I always release the title of my album long before it dropped. I don't
like to hide it. I'm releasing a double album like the last one I did.
One is 'CNN' while the other one is titled 'GRA'. Each is going to
come with eight songs making it total number of16 songs. The full
meaning of GRA is Galvanizing Right Ahead and the other one is
Cancelling Numerous
Negativity (CNN). There has been a lot of negativity about me of late.
One is cancelling all negativity and the other one is a step to move
ahead.

Apart from the new materials you are about to release, what are the
other projects you are working on?
We are working on the Alapomeji All Star album and that will be
released next year. People felt by now Kayefi's album should be out
but there seems to be no sign of such……
A lot of people don't know the story behind it. She just got married
and she's raising her child. We have to allow her to raise her child.

There is this news that you just joined a new record label known as
Diesel Music, how true is it?
There is no iota of truth in it. The owner of Diesel Music is a friend
of mine and we are just trying to make the label popular.

How do you react to controversies and negative stories?
I like it and I want more. If nobody talks about you, that means you
are not in existence. I have learned to realize that both negative and
positive stories work for the artiste but it depends on how you can
cope with it, live with it, get over it and move ahead. Whoever is
having it negative now, should expect it positive later and whoever is
having it positive now, should expect it negative soon too. The most
important thing is deal with it and get on with your life.

What actually went wrong between you and your former manager, Dehinde?
People always want to believe something might have happened before two
people with working relationships go their different ways. We all know
that 20 children can't play together for 20 years. There is always a
point in someone's life that you think you need to move on. That was
what happened and I still work with him on one or two other things
that I need him to help me do.

What is the true story that an Abuja lover that delivered twins for you?
Sometimes, I wish people can just ask me questions before publishing
their stories. That story is not true and I want to tell you that they
are making it up. If they had asked me, I would have been able to tell
them if it's true or not. I wish the habit of writing without
confirming from the person involved can stop. I wish!

And that you are back to your estranged wife hobnobbing in Magodo?
People just like to spread unpalatable stories and nobody will call
9ice to even confirm. I was once married and I'm now separated. That
is the fact!

You recently featured in a movie titled Jejere, what was the experience like?
Well, I don't think I want to feature in any movie again. That might
be my first and the last. You sit down at home, watch them and
criticize them but there're so much more to it than what we see.
Imagine shooting a movie for over a month and you are supposed to edit
it to an hour. It's much more difficult than we imagine.

How would you describe your experience on set?
I was there for about a week, in different locations. They shot in
different cities and places. It was difficult, quite difficult and at
the same time, very challenging. That is going to
me my first and last movie except if I'm being offered a huge sum
amount of money, then I can cancel other events for like two weeks for
a movie shoot.

Aren't you planning to shoot your own movie before?
I was supposed to shoot a movie of my own before actually but while
working on Jejere and I saw the way is being done, I decided to drop
that movie idea for now.

What is your opinion about the current state of the Nigerian music industry?
I think we are getting worst instead of us getting better. What we
dish out is not quality. What we have now is quite different from the
way it all started. I would say it's better we go back to the days of
Plantashun Boiz. What do we have now? Do we even have song now? What
we have now is the beat. Aside that, there is no content regulation
.We have been saying that we should go back to the drawing board.
Thefirst thing is to get PMAN right. Once we get PMAN right with the
artistes of this generation participating actively in PMAN activities,
the body will be able to represent all the musicians and fight for our
collective and individual rights.

‘I’m Not Evil’ – Empress Njamah Accuses The Media Of Painting Her Bad

Sometimes, we forget our celebrities are humans too: they cry, laugh,
smile and have the same feelings we experience.
Empress Njamah has reminded us, while pouring out her heart on her
Facebook wall some days back.

The actress has accused the Nigerian Press of poor journalism in
'order to make money'. Timaya's former lover went on the social
network on November 7, 2012 to profess her innocence while also
explaining to her friends and fans that the negative news said about
her are not true.
'Never judge a book by its cover; I am a typical example of that. When
people who have read or heard a lot of negative reports about me meet
me, they are always shocked. Some will even render their apology,
telling me, "Empress, I am
sorry, I didn't think you were this kind of warm, Njamah wrote on her
Facebook wall.

She also blamed the press for 'misinforming the masses in order to
make money'. 'You see with the way people painted at me especially the
press, anyone who has not met me before will think I am a devil. The
function of the press in society is to inform, but its role in
decadent society like ours is abused by misinforming the masses in
order to make money. If you believe everything you see and hear in the
news, then, you can as well believe Obama is a grandmother', she said.

Calling the society a hypocritical one, Njamah says 'Our society is
full of hypocrisy. Apart from the fact that acting nude is alien to
our culture, there are so many things happening in our society today
which are not part of our culture. The same people who would love to
see you look decent are the same people who would go behind your back
to criticise you.

That's our society for you. Yes, if my society is not all that
hypocritical, I will do it'. Njamah has failed to steer away from
controversy – from Kleptomania allegations, to dirty fights with
Timaya and all, she's fed us more than enough of her private parts…
And she'll definitely pass as the most controversial of the Njamah
siblings.

Former Minister of FCT, Mallam Nasir el Rufai ;Don't envy Nigerian pastors who own private jets

It seems we've not heard the last of Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor's birthday
gift as Pastor Tunde Bakare's comment about a need for revolution
because certain eminent religious leaders have private jets, has been
greatly condemned by religious leaders.

Reacting to Pastor Bakare's comment, the General Secretary of the
Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Rev. Musa Asake; Director of
National Issues of CAN in charge of North West Zone, Rev. Haruna
Karatu; and the PRO of 19 northern states and Abuja CAN, Elder Sunday
Oibe said there is nothing wrong with people donating aircraft to
their religious leaders.

Bakare had said, a few days after church members donated a private jet
to Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor as a birthday present, that a bloody
revolution that would consume religious leaders who are acquiring
private jets would soon break out in the country, as he urged their
congregations to challenge them to explain where and how they raised
the money to procure such expensive jets.

Responding, the CAN secretary said: "What is wrong with giving a
birthday gift to Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor? Did he embezzle church money?
Did he collect somebody's money? If a group of people come together to
buy him a jet to ease his evangelical work, why should that be a
subject of public debate?

"Oritsejafor is a man of God. He is doing everything for the work of
God". Also speaking on the ongoing debate in social media especially
the tweet by former Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Mallam
Nasir el Rufai, Elder Eghes Eyieyien said Nigerian pastors who own
private jets should not be envied because they travel very frequently
around the world ministering.

"Redeemed Christian Church of God has thousands of branches and
millions of members on all continents of the world. Winners' Chapel
and Christ Embassy equally have many international branches and
hundreds of thousands of members. Pastor Adeboye, Bishop Oyedepo and
Pastor Oyakhilome travel thousands of kilometres monthly doing God's
work and have to be in places not well-served by commercial flights,"
he said.

extinguished the fire.

Justin Bieber And Selena Gomez Fight, As She Locks Him Out Of Her House!

An attempted reconciliation dinner between Justin Bieber and Selena
Gomez Friday night went terribly wrong.

They exited Yamato Japanese restaurant in Encino, where they were
planning to dine, just minutes after arriving in separate cars, with
Selena speeding off first.

Back at her house, Selena drove in first, and when Justin arrived, she
wouldn't let him in!

As you can see in the photos obtained by our source, Justin couldn't
get further than the locked gate blocking the driveway!

The teen singer stood at the gate, shouting for Selena, and when she
didn't respond, he could be seen pouting, standing next to the open
door of his white Ferrari.

The tantrum went on for several minutes, eyewitnesses say, with the
Biebs literally hanging on to the gate and calling out for his
estranged girlfriend.

Maybe it was the bizarre harem pants Justin was wearing that turned
her off but Selena apparently was having none of it.

When Justin finally walked back to his car, the actress was spotted
looking out her walk-in gate at the Baby singer.

''Diamonds'' crooner Rihanna's 777 Tour Takes on Stockholm!

Day three! Following Rihanna's tour kick-off in Mexico City, the
sultry singer pressed on with the celebration of her seventh album,
Unapologetic, getting closer to knocking out seven performances in
seven countries in seven days. E! News, along with 200 other
journalists, have been along for the ride with the "Diamonds" crooner
on her whirlwind world tour, this time accompanying the star to her
concert in Sweden.

When we arrived in Stockholm at 3:40 p.m., it was already dark
outside! Most people had slept on the plane from Toronto, so it felt
like dawn instead of dusk. Rihanna was scheduled to begin at 9 p.m.,
but she didn't take the stage until 11:40 p.m.--over two and a half
hours late. "I know I'm a little late so I first want to apologize for
all the inconvenience," Rihanna told the crowd.

"I want to thank you for being the shit and so patient with me and
being still this excited." "I can't believe I'm back here this
quickly. I must apologize. You guys make me feel so special," Rihanna
continued, before singing "Only Girl." The GQ Magazine cover girl
stepped on stage wearing white Chanel oversized glasses and a huge
gold Chanel chain, and a denim jacket--which she quickly took off
because of the heat. The venue was a gorgeous older building, the
classiest of the trip so far.

Unlike Mexico City and Toronto, the crowd was a bit older, but they
enjoyed Rihanna just as much. It was packed inside and very warm.
Rihanna had to towel off twice, and you could still see her sweating
through her shirt. But it didn't faze her at all. She also definitely
wasn't wearing a bra...but that's a different story. Rihanna went on
to perform her new song, "Stay," for only the second time ever live
(the first time was on SNL).

Before she started the song, she said to the crowd, "This is only my
second time performing it so forgive me if I forget the lyrics." She
sang the slow ballad beautifully, and ended the show on a more upbeat
note, with "We Found Love." After the show, Rihanna joined the
journalists and VIPs at the after-party and poured cocktails and shots
for people. She was having a great time. Near the end of it, around
4:30 a.m., she took a swig of something and said, "I quit!"

It's baffling how she does all of this every day (and night).
"Stockholm thank you, I love you so much! I think I'm gonna spend the
night with you guys!! Paris, I'll see you tomorrow tho #777tour,"
Rihanna tweeted following the festivities. Off to the city of love!

Man Bites Off POLICE Officer's NIPPLE

A policeman, Constable Wizdom Njanji, who was manning the Mbizo Police
Post charge office, lost his nipple during a savage attack at the
hands of a suspect arrested for disorderly behaviour in a public
place.

On November 13, Dhlomo Mduduzi (31) allegedly attacked Njanji in the
charge office, while the policeman tried to get his details for the
purposes of processing a fine.

"The suspect, who had been arrested for disorderly conduct, refused to
give police officers his name for the purposes of processing a fine.
Njanji, who was in the charge office at that time, tried to force
Mduduzi to submit his name, but he got angry and attacked the officer,
biting him on the chest," read the State outline.

Mduduzi, who appeared in court Thursday, pleaded guilty to assaulting
the policeman and biting off his nipple, but said he was unaware that
he was attacking a policeman since Njanji was not in uniform.

Provincial magistrate Taurai Manuwere sentenced Mduduzi to 10 months
in prison, but suspended six months for five years on condition of
good behaviour, while the other four months were suspended on
condition he pays a $500 fine.

Manuwere condemned the act of violence, saying Mduduzi had shown utter
disrespect by attacking a policeman in a police station.

Nigerian MEDIA Made ME a DEVIL to make MONEY–EMPRESS NJAMAH

Today, Saturday, November 17, 2012, Nollywood's controversial actress,
Empress Njamah added a year to her age. But for the former girlfriend
of controversial Bayelsa State-born singer, Timaya, she chose this day
to pour out her mind on the way the media practitioners in Nigeria
have made a devil out of her in order to make money for themselves.
The Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Ogun State graduate took
to her Facebook page to express her displeasure at the way the
watchdogs of the society have, according to her, 'poisoned' the minds
of the people in believing she is as bad as she is being reported in
the press.

She posted, "never judge a book by its cover; I am a typical example
of that. When people who have read or heard a lot of negative reports
about me meet me, they are always shocked. Some will even render their
apology, telling me, 'Empress, I am sorry, I didn't think you were
this kind of warm'.

"You see with the way people painted me especially the press, anyone
who has not met me before will think I am a devil. The function of the
press in society is to inform, but its role in a decadent society like
ours is abused by misinforming the masses in order to make money.

"If you believe everything you see and hear in the news, then, you can
as well believe Obama is a grandmother. I do not see myself joining
any clique. I do not see myself hanging out at the theatre with
others, discussing everything about nothing. If anybody needs me, if
you have a job for me, just call me.

"Our society is full of hypocrisy. Apart from the fact that acting
nude is alien to our culture, there are so many things happening in
our society today which are not part of our culture. The same people
who would love to see you look decent are the same people who would go
behind your back to criticise you. That's our society for you. Yes, if
my society is not all that hypocritical, I will do it."

You really think the Nigerian media has 'poisoned' the mind of the
people in believing that Empress is a devil?

DSTV FRAUDSTERS Arrested At ALABA

The police in Lagos have arrested two traders, John Andy and Valentine
Ezenwaka, for allegedly engaging in piracy of DSTV signals. The Police
Special Fraud Unit, SFU, stated this on Friday. The duo, traders at the
Alaba International market, are accused of importing, selling, and
distributing "illicit" devices capable of illegally accessing DSTV's
broadcast signals to "unsuspecting" members of the public.

In a statement signed by Ngozi Isintume-Agu, the SFU Public Relations
Officer, the police said it acted upon a petition by Multichoice
Nigeria Limited, the provider of encrypted multi-channel satellite
television service known as DSTV.

Tunde Ogunshakin, Commissioner of Police at SFU, said, according to
the statement, that the suspects set up contrived equipment that act
as gateways which facilitated illegal access to the multinational
company's broadcast signals.

"Some items suspected to have been used in pirating the intellectual
property were recovered as exhibits," Mr. Ogunshakin said.

According to police records, Mr. Johnson, 28, an apprentice from Abia
State was arrested in Shop No. "F" 1377 and the items recovered from
him included a strong decoder, 16 open boxes and one UPS.

Mr. Ezenwaka, 42, who hails from Anambra State, on the other hand,
claimed to be a technician who repairs TVs, LCDs, and DVDs.

He is the owner of Shop No. "73″ and the items recovered from him
included Avatars and Spider which according to him are Receivers for
free to air transmission. Also, a Laptop and Desktop Computers were
recovered, the police said.

Mr. Ogunshakin said that the suspects would be charged to court "soonest."

Multichoice, through DSTV, has a monopoly over major programmes and
events in Nigeria including the English Premier League, and the full
UEFA Champions League. The seemingly high cost of subscription for the
DSTV channels makes some Nigerians look for ways to by-pass official
and legal routes to access these programs and channels.

Officials of Multichoice have in the past explained that moneys paid
to get the rights of some of these exclusive programs and channels,
coupled with huge operation costs, lead to the high subscription fees.
