trader identified as Modinat Nike Dada, who is in her 30's, has
claimed to be seven months pregnant for the
husband of pretty actress, Funke Akindele, Almaroof Oloyede Kehinde
popularly known as Kendo in Oshodi area of Lagos State.

According to the woman, her romantic affair with Almaroof started
after she moved with her sister, who is a tenant in one of Almaroof's
shops in Oshodi.

After her first marriage to one Dayo, Modinat, a mother of two, went
to her elder sister who sells cloth at Oshodi to continue with her
life. It was there Modinat also called Mama Dayo reportedly met

Almaroof in the media, she became devastated.

It was also reported that Modinat has been put under pressure to keep
a sealed lip on the issue and never let it get to the press because of
the dead bones it will make to wake up. The magazine further reported
that several sources from Funke Akindele have warned Modinat not to
expose the story and was reportedly promised juicy offers as a reward
for
keeping quiet.

As the magazine puts it, the woman was given a posh apartment in Agege
area of Lagos where she currently stays.

As it stands, Almaroof is now expecting three babies from three women.
One from Funke Akindele, who is presently pregnant; one from his
second wife, Fadekemi believed to put to bed soon and Modinat expected
to give him a baby probably in December 2012.

DAVID MARK - NIGERIANS MUST KNOW FACTS AND FIGURES FROM OIL EARNINGS

The Senate, yesterday, concluded debate on the general principles of
the 2013 Appropriation Bill of N4.92 trillion as the aggregate
expenditure, and referred it to the Committee on Appropriation for
further legislative tinkering.

The Senator Ahmed Maccido-led committee was given three weeks to
report back to the general House on their findings and
recommendations.

After debating the performance of the 2012 budget and an in-depth
analysis of the 2013 Appropriation Bill, the Senate, however, blamed
the executive for poor implementation of the previous budget, just as
the lawmakers called for effective implementation of the 2013 budget.

Facts and figures on revenue earnings from oil

Meanwhile, Senate President David Mark, yesterday, told the committee
that time was ripe for Nigerians to know the true facts and figures on
revenue earnings from oil as well as ensure that what was released to
the Ministries, Departments and Agencies, MDAs, had cash backing.

He said: ''Revenue generation is extremely important because we can
continue to assume that we are producing so many barrels and that so
much has come in, but if we don't touch the heart of it to make sure
we are dealing with facts and figure, then we would be talking about
imaginary figures.

"I think the committee on finance should get to the root of that to
know how much we have realised at the end of the year and then we
would know how much has been utilised. It is one thing to say that so
much has been released to MDAs, but if they are not cash backed, then
that release is merely on paper.

While urging the Senators to ensure that they carry out an effective
oversight to assess the level of budget implementation, Mark said:
"Whatever we say about the budget, if we pass it and can implement
exactly what we passed faithfully, then, we would not have the
complaints that we have."

Earlier in his lead debate on the budget, Senate Leader, Senator
Victor Ndoma-Egba, PDP, Cross River Central, noted that there should
be slight change in the 2013 budget to accommodate the huge losses
recorded through flood in the country. He, however, argued that the
$75 oil benchmark set by the executive "is designed against the
backdrop of global economic uncertainty as the global economy is at a
very slow pace."

Nollywood : Charles Novia’s critique of Tonto Dike’s songs

Found the write up on the movie producer and record label owner's
Facebook page. See it below…

Tonto's Terrible Tremolo by Charles Novia.

I have restrained myself for a couple of years from commenting on
Tonto Dike's career after my last comments about her role in the soft
porn movie she acted in two years back, were badly taken by her and
she went on twitter to hurl infantile insults on my person with
expletives and uncomplimentary remarks. My reaction to such then was
just a dignified silence.

After all, I had already spoken on her stunted talent as an up and
coming actress and further comments on her incensed tweets were
unnecessary.

All through the past few hours, the social media networks have been
abuzz with the new singles of actress, Tonto Dike.

She seems to have joined the actors of her ilk who have the
moonlighting itch to delve into singing. While no one can stop such an
ambition by those artistes, I do think those who surround such
artistes are their worst enemies if they can't tell them the truth
about leaving their sometimes doubtful day job. Well, I will! I
listened to Miss Dike's two singles a few minutes ago and my initial
speechlessness morphed to a nagging laughter and then subsided into a
befuddled anguish.

I'm a music label owner (November Records) and have produced and
Executive Produced acts like Majek Fashek, Terry tha Rapman, Zubby
Enebeli etc. I know much about music and the slant of commercial
music.

But after listening to Miss Dike's songs, I'm inclined to align with
the majorly negative comments about them on cyberspace. Ah-ah!

Whoever produced her knew she has a bad voice for singing and masked
our listening torture with the Autotune effect. But even the
autotune rejected any attempt to make a bad. voice worse and Miss Dike
came out sounding like she was in mid-stream orgasm instead of
singing! Her anguished tremolos would have been better reserved for a
horror movie sound effect than an attempt at joining the revere
profession of music.

If Omotola got away with her last two terrible attempts at singing,
it was because Omotola is a fantastic actress and her fans could
forgive her musical failings after backtracking her body of work in
Nollywood. With Tonto, I can't say much either for her acting depth.

She's a one-dimensional actress in my opinion, who mistakes notoriety
for fame. She needs more training in acting and this I say with all
sense of professionalism as a movie Director. She might achieve
greater heights in acting if she trains more. But she has no heights
to achieve in singing. Only a downward plunge, the stuff bad endings
in movies are made of.

Wizkid Thumbs Down Tonto Dike's Songs

Ever since Nollywood actress, Tonto Dike, released her two singles,
'Itz Ova' and 'HI', it has generated lots of controversies on all
social networks and airwaves.

It's a well know fact that Tonto and Wizkid are fond of each other, so
for even the star boy Wizkid to have tweeted that, 'Shawty needs to
chill,' shows that she ought to have chilled a while before coming out
with such a trash called song.

Is Wizkid implying that she is not yet ready to hit the music industry
because she is an actress and not a musician? Your guess is as good as
mine.

PHOTO : TIWA SAVAGE CAUGHT IN HOT ROMANCE

When we reported the lovey-dovey between the Pepsi Ambassador, Tiwa
Savage and Marvin Records boss, not many people believe us.

Though, the sexy Nigerian artiste laer came out to debunk the story.
The songtress who is making all the money in the world with her new
lease of life, Tiwa Savage, was spotted recently with her Manager, Tee
Billz at Elite Model Look 2012 event in Lagos in an uncompromising
position.

You all know that, Tiwa has never confessed to be dating a particular
man but the last event, according to an eye-witness, proved her wrong
as the two didn't spend any moment away from each other during the
event and after the party.

They were spotted hugging, kissing and posing for photographs
throughout the event. I hope this rumour is true.

Breaking News : Funke Akindele’s Husband Expecting Three Children From Three Different Women

"ALHAJI" Kenny Almaroof Oloyede aka Funke Akindele's husband is set
to be a new father(s) very soon.

According to a report culled from E24-7Mag, Kenny, who already has
five children, is. expecting 3 new babies one from his Baby
Mama-Fadekemi, another one from one lady named Modinat, and Funke is
reportedly pregnant and said to be due in mid-July of 2013.

The case of Modinat seems to be most pathetic as she is caught in the
middle of the storm and was coerced to keep her mouth shut in exchange
for Kenny's continued generosity.

"A Lagos trader, Modinat Nike Dada, in her late 30s is seven months
pregnant for Funke Akindele's husband, Kehinde Oloyede, E24-7 MAGAZINE
can authoritatively reveal.

Modinat, mother of two boys and popularly known as Mama Dayo, was
formerly married to a man simply known as Dayo. Both have since
separated. The marriage crashed some years back due to irreconcilable
differences and alleged domestic abuse.

Her former hubby was a wife beater, alleged some sources.
But when the situation became life threatening she had to leave the
man and joined her elder sister, a successful clothing merchant in her
shop at Oshodi.

Her former hubby, Dayo, was a graduate of Ogun State Polytechnic,
Abeokuta. Not a few. family members were surprised to know that the
marriage did not last because they were like two inseparable lovebirds
when they were dating.

The former hubby took the two children away from her and kept them in
her mother's custody in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State. Though life threw a big
storm at her, she found solace in the love and care from her immediate
siblings who were not only always around her but promptly responds to
her needs.

Modinat in her late 30s quickly picked her life up and became
industrious. She traded in some fast consuming goods which she was
selling in wholesale to retailers.

When she finally moved to her sister's shop, her path crossed with
Kehinde Oloyede, popularly known as Kendoo. Incidentally, Kendoo a
property merchant is the landlord of her sister's shop in Oshodi. He
found in her a good and amiable friend and as fate would have it, she
found herself in his arms.

Modinat and Kendoo instantly became an item and they were seen
together at some of their close friends' private parties.

The romance thickened, they shared great moments together and there
was pressure to get pregnant. Not once or twice inside sources said
the Ota, Ogun State-born trader was accompanied to several
spiritualists and gynecologists by Kendoo in their bid to seal their
romance with a baby.

Sometimes in March, she got pregnant and filled with joy, she
announced to her lover-boy, who close sources said was not ecstatic
about it.

"He practically took off, he stopped coming to her house, shunned all
entreaties and stopped picking her calls," E24-7 MAGAZINE's source
hinted.

The following month, Modinat was shocked to read in magazines and
newspapers that Kendoo wanted to marry the Return of Jenifa's star
actress, Funke Akindele. She was devastated, flustered but once again,
her family rose and stood firmly behind her.

In the last few months, Modinat has been under intense pressure to
keep her mouth sealed and advised to avoid the media. Sources close to
her confirmed that she has been inundated with calls by several people
close to the famous actress, Funke Akindele, to keep a low profile and
keep the 'family's' dirty linen away from the public.

She has been promised juicy offers if she delivers without spilling
the bean and grudgingly she has accepted. Modinat, who currently lives
in a tastefully furnished apartment in Agege area of Lagos has
accepted her fate and rejoices in the fact that the baby she is
expecting would bring joy back to her again.

Since her former hubby took her two boys away she has not set her eyes
on them, she feare Since her former hubby took her two boys away she
has not set her eyes on them, she feared the estranged hubby might
move them abroad and cut her links to them forever.

Her consolation is in the baby she's expecting to be her companion in
years to come. As it were, Funke Akindele's hubby with five kids
already is expecting in the next few months three additional children
in his harem.

His second wife, Fadekemi is in the last trimester of her pregnancy
and is due to deliver soon. Modinat will also have her baby latest in
December latest while Funke, reported to be in her first trimester is
expected to deliver mid-July 2013."
