White garment Pastor who paid man N6,000 to beheadcorpse arrested [PHOTO]

A man simply identified as Iku Monday by residents of Sabo area of
Abeokuta, Ogun State, is still being quizzed by the police for
allegedly beheading dead woman (names withheld) after exhuming her
corpse from a grave in her husband's building site.

It revealed that on August 18 this year, Mr. Abiodun, husband of
Monday's victim, contracted Monday to clear a plot of land belonging
to him on the outskirts of Sabo for a fee. On the site was a grave of
his (Abiodun's) second wife, who died of complications following
delivery of her baby.

Sunday Sun also authoritatively gathered that trouble started when a
resident simply identified as Mr. Akpan allegedly spotted Iku Monday
while exhuming and beheading the corpse of the dead woman.

Akpan then raised the alarm, alerting the neighbourhood of the
dastardly act by Monday and in no time a crowd gathered to 'arrest'
Monday.

Monday allegedly confessed that he was commissioned by a white garment
pastor (names withheld), who owns a "mission house" in a village
called Oloomore in Ayetoro area of Abeokuta. He alleged that the said
cleric gave him N6,000 to get him the head of a dead person. His
words, "Please, be lenient with me.

I was asked to do this by a white garment cleric. He paid me N6,000
for the job. I have been searching for a corpse's head before Mr.
Abiodun contracted me to clear this site, and when I discovered a
grave on the site, and was sure it was recently dug, I decided to
exhume the corpse and behead her. I didn't know it was Oga Abiodun's
wife.

If you spare my life, I will take you to the cleric, but not in this
naked condition, I would have to put on my clothes so the cleric will
recognize me." As others were bent on lynching Monday, elders
intervened and pleadedwith the mob to allow Monday lead them to the
cleric.

Iku Monday then took the mob to the outskirts of Sabo, a place called
Oloomore, on Sanni Road in Ayetoro area of Ogun State. On getting to
the cleric's place, a drama first played out in the shanty that could
only be described as a pigsty. Persons suspected to be worshippers or
members of a religious sect promptly took to their heels as soon as
they spotted a crowd approaching with Iku Monday.

The makeshift shanty has no proper roofing, only a brownish mosquito
net hung over it. There was no furniture of any kind to give the place
the appearance of a 'home'.

Sunday Sun discovered fetish materials such as the horns of a ram
wrapped with red and black clothes, carved wooden images ofa man and
woman tied together with sacks, and a cock in a basket with its legs
bound. These and many other items hard to describe in print were
foundin the place.

The cleric denied Monday's allegation, saying he had never set eyes on
him before. His words, "He is a liar o. I don't know him from Adam. He
is an agent of the devil brought to destroy my ministry. They have
failed spiritually, now they are combating me physically." But
residents of Ayetoro, especially the cleric's neighbours, told Sunday
Sun they had always suspected the cleric.

"When he first came to this place, he always carried one fetish
sacrifice or theother to three-way junctions in this area. We have
often wondered if he is truly a man of God as he professes. How can a
man of God be involved in fetish things?" Elder Kasumu, a resident of
the area, said. Unmoved by the 'pastor's denial, the mob took Monday
and his 'client' to the Sabo Police Station to face the law.

Things We Wish We Had Known as NewlyWed

When we were first married, like many newlyweds, we thought we knew it
all. In reality, we had a lot to learn about how to build a successful
marriage!

Here are things we wish we had known

Fight Fair.

It is okay to argue with one another as long as you fight fair. Pick
your battles. What you argued about today may seem so very important
but chances are you won't remember it a few years from now.

Date One Another.
Although staying home and watching a movie or enjoying some quiet
time together is important, getting out of the house and having a date
with one another is one of the keys to having a successful marriage.

Talk to One Another. Your spouse is not a mind reader. Don't jump to
conclusions. Share what you want and what you don't want and what you
like and what you don't
like. Share your thoughts and feelings when the two of you have
decisions to make.

Have Fun and Enjoy One Another. This seems like a given, but newlyweds
often put work and making money on a higher priority than having fun.
Don't wait to have fun. You
can have fun without spending a lot of money.

Your Jobs Can Hurt Your Marriage. Yes, being successful in your
careers and earning enough money to keep the roof over your heads is
important. However, work is not the
most important thing in life. Don't let your jobs interfere with your marriage.

Let Go of Past Hurts. You will make mistakes. Your spouse will make
mistakes. You will both say things you don't really mean. You both
need to forgive and to be forgiven.

Draw the Line With Your In-Laws. Set boundaries with your in-laws
right away. If you don't, problems with your respective families will
continue throughout your
marriage.

I Will Make Sure He Sleeps In Jail - Karen Igho

Former BBA winner, Karen Igho will not let the guy who slapped him go
unpunished as she says she's doing everything she can to get justice.

"My team are on this. I've also called my lawyer. I know I have a good
heart but I won't let this go without fighting for justice because he
might do it to someone else. Thank God he didn't shoot me."

What happened was that, Karen Igho was at the Smirnoff party last
Friday to support a friend popularly known as 'Denrele' who hosted
the party, but she got more than she bargained for as she left the
party with a swollen after she got beaten by a security guard.

Karen poured her heart out to followers on Twitter about how 'hurt and
beaten' she was; "Wow I got slapped at a smirnoff party by a security
guard! Is it because I'm a woman?" she tweeted.

"He loaded his gun and put it to my face at the car park. Said he
would shoot me if I didn't give him money. I said I didn't have. He
slapped me!Now my face is swollen and I'm in pain! All I wanted to do
was to go support my friend, Denrele who hosted the event. I feel
abused and hurt. The slap sent me landing on the floor and hitting my
head."

Whatever Karen did or said to the security guard, no one deserves to
be beaten like that, especially not a woman. Karen might have said
some ugly words to the guard which is not unusual of some ladies who
are generally rude to waiters, drivers, guards, but it is
irresponsible of any man to raise his hand at a woman. Only time will

Angry Nigerian Housewife In New Jersey Calls In Fake Bomb Threat To Stop Husband’s Christmas Trip To Nigeria

A New Jersey housewife put her husband's solo Paris-Lagos trip on ice
when she had police nab him at the airport on a false bomb report
according to an exclusive report by New York Post.

Eunice Ukaegbu, 50, told police that her hubby, Okieze Ukaegbu, 58,
might "blow up" the Paris-bound Delta Air Lines flight out of Newark,
New Jersey. He had been "acting distant" and then wouldn't let her
peek in his suitcase, she confessed. That was enough to light the fire
of a woman scorned and set off the chase.

Police first arrived at the couple's Union, NJ,home to question
Eunice. Federal agents, who feared her husband may be a terrorist,
were in tow.

The couple's daughter overheard the ordeal, then called her father on
his cell phone to tip him off that cops would be meeting him at the
airport with an order to arrest.
Okieze arrived at the airport in a black Lexus and wearing tan pants.

"I went through his suitcase — and I panicked," Eunice told the
credulous cops. "I did what an honest citizen would do," she sniffed.

Port Authority police and other law-enforcement agencies also rushed
to find Okieze, who was stopping off in Paris before connecting to
Lagos, Nigeria. Okieze stayed told cops that his wife "had an alcohol
problem" and was lying, authorities said.

Okieze, who had already passed security, was taken into custody at
Gate B45 at around 12:15 p.m., authorities said. His luggage was
removed from the aircraft, and searched by bomb-sniffing dogs. He was
taken away for questioning and missed his flight. He has reportedly
been released from custody and police said they now plan to charge his
wife.
Okieze continued his trip on a different flight and could not be
reached for comment, Sahara Reports ...
