D'banj - If you call me illuminati ! God will strike you

"The reason why I am successful today is because of God. So if you
can't understand my success or if it's too fast for you, please don't
classify it as Illuminati. It is very annoying and God might strike
you down, because he would not share his glory with any 'family' –
D'banj said in a recent interview. Thanks for reading

Mourinho: It would be a crime if Ronaldo does not win the Ballon d'Or

Mourinho : Messi and CR7 from another planet Mourinho stated after the
Clasico that both players were from another planet, but he is now
having second thoughts about his previous statement, and believes his
compatriot is well ahead of the Argentine forward , according to goal
.com

"It would be a crime if Cristiano didn't win the Ballon d'Or. If Messi
is the best in the world, it's only because Cristiano is from another
planet," Mourinho stated to A Bola. "He wasn't born on Madeira, but on
Mars.

So he's not from planet Earth. That's why he's the best player in the
universe. If Cristiano does not win it this year, it has to do with
his image. He doesn't sell himself well and isn't always a nice guy."

The flamboyant coach then voiced his opinion that it is more difficult
for Ronaldo to excel than it is for Messi, as he has not been
surrounded by the same teammates for years .

"Things are much harder for Cristiano than they are for Messi. Messi
grew up with his current team and teammates," he said. "Cristiano, on
the other hand, came here from England and arrived at a struggling
team. He has had to develop in a team that wasn't the finished article
yet."

NEWS: UNIVERSITY OF ILORIN ( UNILORIN) SUED FOR WITHHOLDING TAXES

The infrastructural growth of the University of Ilorin in the past six
years has been awesome, but extra funds available as a result of
non-payment of tax might have buoyed the growth as tax collectors in
Kwara State believed the school has been withholding tax.

The Kwara State Internal Revenue Service on Thursday dragged the
authorities of the University of Ilorin before an Ilorin High Court
for allegedly withholding about N971m taxes from the state.

The Kwara State Internal Revenue Service through its counsel, Funso
Lawal claimed the outstanding/debts arose from alleged unremitted
taxes/levies due to the state government from the university in a
period covered between January 2004 and December 2008.

The plaintiff claimed an outstanding Pay As You Earn tax of N579m;
outstanding withholding tax of N149m; state development levy of N1.6m;
statutory penalty at 10 per cent totaling N72.8m; and statutory
interest at 21 per cent (until judgment is given) amounting to
N168.5m.

"The defendant is a direct employer within jurisdiction and is under
the combined provisions of the Personal Tax Act, Board of Internal
Revenue Law and other Laws on tax, statutorily responsible for the
deduction of PAYE tax on the income of its staff; deduct withholding
tax on contracts awarded and to deduct N100 per annum, per employee as
development levy."

Justice Ayinla Bamgbola is presiding over the case on which the
authorities of UNILORIN have not spoken yet on as the school is
reported busy on management transition as the institution's new Vice
Chancellor is expected to resume office next week.

Ozil hails Mourinho relationship, maintains happiness at Real Madrid

The Germany international has struggled to find his best form in the
opening weeks of the 2012-13 campaign, and a number of reports
suggested he had a difficult relationship with Mourinho after he lost
his starting place, according to Goal.com.

against Barcelona on Sunday, and he has made it clear that he does not
have any problems with the former Inter boss.

for the confidence he has shown in me," Ozil stated to Kicker.

The attacking midfielder then went on to stress that he is very happy
with life in the Spanish capital.

"Walking around the streets of Madrid is unbelievable. The fans are
incredible. Naturally they make me feel proud and happy," Ozil said.

Latest : Lindsay Lohan: I'm Voting for Mitt Romney

Lindsay Lohan should have enough issues to focus on in her life (like,
say, the blow up fight she had with her mom and subsequent fight she
had with her dad) but she has another on her mind: Unemployment.

The Liz & Dick star stepped out at tonight's Mr Pink's Ginseng Drink
event at the Regent Beverly Wilshire and announced that she's putting
her celebrity support behind Mitt Romney.

"I just think employment is really important right now," LiLo
explained when asked if she was keeping up with the election. "So, as
of now, Mitt Romney. As of now." Shocking? Perhaps.

But Lohan says "It's a long story." Also slightly shocking was the
freshly red locks Lindsay debuted on the pink carpet. "It's actually
the wrong color than it's supposed to be," she explained on what
inspired the change in color. "But it's the color of my natural hair
and it will get there."

Tragedy : RETIRED POLICE OFFICER SHOOTS AND KILLS HIS SON, AFTER MISTAKING HIM FOR A THIEF

A retired Chicago police officer has shot and killed his son, after
mistaking him for a burglar.

Michael Griffin, 48, died of a gunshot wound to the head at his
father's home in the northwest side of Chicago, CBS Local Chicago
reports.

It was a tragic case of mistaken identity for Michael's father,
Chicago Police Detective James Griffin, according to another son.

"My brother was staying there, and last I heard they were watching the
Jay Leno show and my dad fell asleep," Stephen Griffin told CBS Local
Chicago. According to police, Michael had apparently left the
apartment and returned through a back door.

"And I guess he assumed my brother was at home sleeping, and when
someone came in the back door, he just naturally assumed it was an
intruder," Stephen said of his father.

"At that time he didn't know who he shot," Griffin, 47, told the
Chicago Tribune. "Then he called me back and told me the bad news,"
said Griffin, whose mother died in 1999. "I'm just glad my mom wasn't
around to see this."

Griffin said his father, who is 77, was a police officer for more than
40 years, serving as a homicide detective and then retiring in 1998.

He told the Chicago newspaper that his father's senses "aren't as
sharp as they used to be," but that he is still healthy enough to play
in a local basketball league.

"He's in pretty good health except for some bumps and bruises from
playing basketball," Griffin told the Tribune. "I don't know if his
age had a lot to do with it."

This is the second incident in recent weeks in which a father shot and
killed a son, mistaking him for an intruder.

Last month, a Connecticut teacher shot and killed a young man wearing
a mask in his neighbor's yard — only to learn later the young man he
had killed was his son.

Chicago police have not filed any charges in the Griffin family
incident. They are investigating.

"I'm still freaking out about it," Griffin said about his father's
case to the Tribune. "I have two sons of my own, and I can't imagine
how he must feel."

Dino Melaye Is A Potential HIV Carrier, He Gave Me Syphilis-- Upcoming Actress Alleges

Dino Melaye

The 'dirty water' controversial former Kogi State federal lawmaker,
Dino Melaye may have found himself swimming in has taken a new turn.

If what we are now getting is anything to go by, then, more troubles
await the husband of Tokunbo Melaye. This is because the 'activist'
has now been dragged into another controversy, which may be messier
than the pregnancy mess he is in with beautiful Yoruba actress, Bisi
Ibidapo Obe.

According to what BON reported, an up and coming Yoruba actress has
accused the father of three of infecting her with a sexually
transmitted disease called Syphilis. She also alleged Dino to be a
potential carrier of the dreaded STD called HIV.

BON reported that a budding actress (name withheld) sent a mail to
them. A copy of the mail is presented below.
"My name is ——–, I am an upcoming actress and I have featured in over
20 Yoruba films mostly as waka about. Last year, I met one of the big
names in the industry who lives in Magodo and she became my friend and
we were relating on sister basis.

She was very nice to me and she even gave me a role in her movie
directed by Muyideen and shot in Omole Estate. On my birthday last
year (2011), she (the big actress) used my picture on her bb
(BlackBerry) and Hon.

Dino saw it and begged that she hooked us up. She did but told me
plain that she was not asking me to date him that the choice was mine.
Hon Dino started wooing me, he will call for long hours and he changed
my phone and at one instance gave me 250,000 to change my wardrobe.

I asked Hon. Melaye if he was married and he said he was seperated as
he caught his wife in bed with another man in his matrimonial home.

One thing about Dino is that he hates CD (condom) and the first time
we had sex, we argued for over 2hours as I said no to unprotected sex
but after some sweet talks, I agreed and we continue like that. It
didn't take long before I started feeling funny and when I told my
sister, who was a doctor, she ran some tests on me and told me I had
Syphilis.

I picked my phone and told Dino. This was the last time he picked my
calls and he deleted me from his bbm. If he denies this, I will send
you at least 3 of our hotel receipts bearing his name. I am out
because I know that there are more greedy girls like me and the rate
at which Dino is going, he is a potential HIV carrier.

Dino is very smooth and lies come to him easily. Editor, this letter
is unedited except the fact that we removed her name as agreed."
