UEFA consider scrapping Europa League

European football's governing body are considering scrapping the
Europa League in favour of extending the Champions League, UEFA
president Michel Platini told Wednesday's edition of the daily
Ouest-France.

Asked about possible plans to extend the elite Champions League at the
expense of the second-tier Europa League, Platini said: "There is an
ongoing debate to determine
what form the European competitions will have between 2015 and 2018.

We're discussing it, we will make a decision in 2014. Nothing is
decided yet." One of the options being looked at is the possibility of
extending the final phase of the Champions League from 32 to 64 teams.
The Europa League generates far lower revenue for clubs than the
Champions League and has been criticised since it evolved from the
UEFA Cup in 2009.

What do you think , should UEFA go ahead and scrap it ?

JONATHAN SACKS BPE BOSS !!!!!

Ms. Bolanle Ayodele Onagoruwa, the Director General of the Bureau of
Public Enterprises (BPE), has been relieved of her appointment by
President Goodluck Jonathan.

Her sack might not be unconnected with the way the BPE handled the
contract for the Transmission Company of Nigeria which was awarded to
a Canadian firm, Manitoba Hydro International, but was later cancelled
because of a series of infractions on the part of the Bureau – a move
that allegedly caused the presidency untold embarrassment.

Ms. Onagoruwa who was appointed by President Jonathan in August 2010,
is to hand over to the most senior management staff,  Mr. Benjamin
Ezra Dike, who will serve in acting capacity.

The Director General of the Bureau for Public Enterprises (BPE) Mrs.
Bolanle Onogoruwa has been relieved of her appointment with immediate
effect.

She is to hand over to the most Senior Director in the Bureau, Mr.
Benjamin Ezra Dikki who is to hold the position in an acting capacity.

A press statement by the Senior Special Assistant (Media and Publicity)
to the Vice President Umar Sani said " Mr. President extends his
sincere appreciation to Mrs. Bolanle Onogoruwa for her services to the
nation and wishes her the best in her future endeavours".

AFRICAN RICHEST WOMAN ,FOLORUNSHO ALAKIJA

Arguably Nigeria's oil baroness, Folorunsho Alakija, 61, is Africa's
richest woman with a net worth of $600m as at November when Forbes
released its 'Africa's 40 richest'.

The married mother of four who owns a £64M (N16,049,664,000) flat in
One Hyde Park, London, started her career in the mid 1970s as a
secretary at the now-defunct International Merchant Bank of Nigeria,
one of the West African nation's earliest investment banks. In the
1980s, after studying fashion design in England, she founded Supreme
Stitches, a Nigerian fashion label that catered to upscale clientele
and six years later, she emerged the best designer in the country in
1986.

Alakija struck gold in 1993 when then Nigerian President, Ibrahim
Babangida awarded her company, Famfa Oil, an oil prospecting license
which went on to become OML 127, one of Nigeria's most prolific oil
blocks that reportedly rakes in N157 million a day.

But it wasn't all a rosy affair as she'd a running battle with the
Nigerian government under former President Olusegun Obasanjo, which
unconstitutionally acquired a 50% interest in the block without duly
compensating Alakija or her company. Famfa Oil went to court to
challenge the acquisition, and in May this year, the Nigerian Supreme
Court reinstated the 50% stake to Famfa Oil.

Alakija through her charity, the Rose of Sharon Foundation, supports
widows throughout Nigeria.

28-YEAR OLD JAPANESE MAN MARRIES PILLOW

The 28-year old Otaku (a Japanese term that roughly translates to
somewhere between 'obsessive' and 'nerd'), took that love a step
further  by getting married to his pillow in a special ceremony that
was well publicized in the local media after fitting it out with a
wedding dress for the service in front of a local priest. The pillow
has an image of Fate Testarossa, from the 'magical girl' anime series
Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha.

One friend said of the relationship between Lee and his pillow: 'He is
completely obsessed with this pillow and takes it everywhere'.

Another added, 'They go out to the park or the funfair where it will
go on all the rides with him. Then when he goes out to eat he takes it
with him and it gets its own seat and its own meal'.

The pillow marriage is not the first similarly-themed unusual marriage
in recent times – it comes after a Japanese otaku married his virtual
girlfriend Nene Anegasaki, a character who only exists in the Nintendo
DS game 'Love Plus,' last November.

Brad Pitt on Marrying Angelina Jolie: We're Getting Pressure From the Kids

In deciding it was finally time to put a ring on Angelina Jolie, Brad
Pitt realized more than ever how everyone deserves the right to get
married. "Everyone should have it," he told E! News' Terrence Jenkins
at the New York junket for Killing Them Softly, in which Pitt plays,
in his words, a guy who gets to "carry a big gun and shoot people.

" But when is Pitt, a longtime advocate for the legalization of gay
marriage, finally going to exercise his very exclusive right to marry
Jolie? Well, he just laughed when Jenkins joked about receiving
Jolie's save-the-date notice in the mail. But it appears that the
Jolie-Pitt nuptials will be happening sooner rather than later.

"We're getting a lot of pressure from the kids," the father of six
admitted. "We didn't realize how much it meant to them and then, in
getting engaged, how much it also means to us." And we don't have to
tell him how much it's going to mean to us. For more from Pitt and the
New York premiere of Killing Them Softly, tune into E! News on Tuesday
at 7 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.

‘I don’t feel any pressure being EME’s first lady’they watch over me– Niyola

Born Eniola Akinbo, she's better known as sultry singer Niyola. The
only lady in the EME squad, she's had a career that has spanned over
10 years, and in this interview, says she's ready to stage a comeback,
challenges notwithstanding.

Your video 'Don't go there' was just released. How did you find the experience?

It was amazing. We rehearsed for about four weeks before the video was
shot. The choreography, the dancers and the dances made it all fun.

When are you likely to release your album?

It's definitely going to be next year, although I can't say what
quarter it will be. I will be dropping more singles and more videos as
well.

A lot has changed since you went off the radar. Now that you're
planning a comeback, what kind of songs should we expect from you?

I will stick to my contemporary music. I don't like to box myself to a
corner, describing myself as an R&B or soul singer. I will just do
what comes naturally. I'm ready to explore and make more good music
that people can relate to.

Who are you planning to work with on your album?

I really can't say for now but I am going to be working with a lot of
people. I definitely want to work with Banky W because I have always
been a fan. I have done stuff with Skales too , and hopefully one
other female artiste.

You were once romantically linked with rapper Freestyle. Is there a
possibility of you both getting together again, at least
professionally?

I was? Well, Freestyle was my great friend and is still my very good
friend. We had a conversation yesterday just like the friends that we
are. Working with him, I can't say for now, maybe, maybe not.

Are you in a relationship now?

No. I am very much single.

Tell us how your journey into EME started and how it has been so far.

Banky and I have always been friends and when I decided to make my
comeback, I did a song with Skales. Along the line, I went to the EME
house where I met him and everybody. We got talking about so many
things, including the DELSU rape issue which was popular then. He
advised that I do a song about rape in Nigeria at that time.

He later volunteered to be part of the song. We started working on the
song and I guess it was at that point he realized he had to sign me.
So far, the journey has been great and a lot of fun. I look forward to
more fun moments because as much as it is work, it is also a lot of
fun because it is what we love to do.

How does it feel being EME's first lady, and does it come with pressure?

It definitely feels good because everybody is looking out for me on a
personal and work level. They don't let anybody mess with me. They are
like hawks watching over me, the things brothers do for their only
sister. There hasn't been any pressure on me at all. I am comfortable
being the first lady.

EX-BANKER BOWS TO Pressure, Suspends Hunger STRIKE

Olubiyi Odunaro, the 53-year-old former employee of Hallmark Bank
Plc., protesting against non-payment of his terminal benefit, on
Monday suspended his 14-day hunger strike.

The   suspension of the protest followed spirited appeal by a
representation from the Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola, and
officials from the Lagos office of the Public Complaints Commission.

Senior Special Assistant to Fashola on Justice Sector Reforms, Lanre
Akinsola, who led a team of legal, welfare and medical officials to
the tent Odunaro had turned to his home on Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way,
Lagos, promised to intervene.

Akinsola said, "The attention of the Lagos State Government was drawn
to the various media reports about the protest being embarked upon by
Odunaro and it's quite pathetic.

"Governor Fashola who was worried about his state of health formed an
inter-ministerial committee comprising medical, legal and welfare
officials and directed me to lead the team to  persuade him to end his
hunger strike.

"As a responsible government we don't want a dead casualty in our
hands as a result of this protest. Once he ends this protest, we would
first provide him medical service while the Lagos State Directorate of
Citizens Rights would engage the authorities concerned in a
comprehensive dialogue."

Akinsola said the Lagos State Attorney General and Commissioner for
Justice, Ade Ipaye, had given him his word on free legal services to
Odunaro and other ex-workers of non-consolidated banks seeking the
payment of their entitlements if the negotiations become unfruitful.

"The Lagos Commissioner of the Public Complaints Commission, Funso
Olukoga, sends his word that you end this protest and go back home
while we look into your complaints.

"We've listened to the complaints and we are going back to report to
the commissioner and see the best we can do concerning it.

"We are making this appeal because of your health and the negative
consequences it may have on you. The commissioner has given us the
authority to ensure that the matter is resolved."

He said, "This struggle is not only  about myself; it's about the
right of over 14,000 ex-workers of non-consolidated banks who are ably
represented here today.

"The Lagos State Government and the PCC have  given me and my people
their word and I would hold on to it. My other colleagues too have
appealed to me to give the state government the opportunity to play
their part in this matter.

"In view of this, I announce the suspension of my hunger strike for
two weeks to enable me to  go for medical treatment and allow the
state government play its part in this debacle."

President, Association of  Ex-Staff of Non-Consolidated Bank, Magnus
Maduka, said, "We  will be leveraging on the clout of the state
government and the promises of the Public Complaints Commission to get
our  entitlements which we  have  been fighting for for about seven
years."

As soon as he announced the suspension, the medical team from the
Lagos State Ambulance Service who  had been waiting for hours led him
into an ambulance marked LA 167 A08 at about 3:09pm and took him to
the Medical Emergency of the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital
for medical attention.

Jamie Foxx Calls Barack Obama "Our Lord and Savior" at Soul Train Awards, Catholic Group Fires Back

Oh, Jamie Foxx. The comedian caused quite a stir at the 2012 Soul
Train Awards, which was televised last night but taped in Las Vegas a
few days after the 2012 election, when he made an out-of-this-world
comparison regarding the president. "It's like church over here. It's
like church in here.

First of all, give an honor to God and our Lord and Savior Barack
Obama. Barack Obama," Foxx said to the audience. The president of the
Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights in the United States
Bill Donahue released a statement regarding the actor's comment,
saying, "Foxx's epiphany is startling.

It just goes to show that even though Obama did not succeed in
stopping the oceans from rising (as he promised to do in 2008), he did
succeed in convincing Jamie Foxx, and no doubt legions of others, that
God exists. Whether God can survive an ACLU lawsuit accusing him of
violating church and state grounds remains to be seen.

" Foxx's rep was not immediately available for comment. Beyoncé was
the top winner of the night, taking home the awards for Best R&B/Soul
Female Artist and Best Dance Performance for "Love on Top.

" Other winners included the late Whitney Houston and Jordin Sparks'
"Celebrate" for Best Gospel/Inspirational Performance, Kanye West's
"Mercy" for Best Hip-Hop Song of the Year and Frank Ocean's Channel
Orange snagged Album of the Year.

Joseph Benjamin - "I never said I married my wife out of pity" Replies Critics

What Joseph Benjamin told Bella Naija in the Interview Recently !!

What really happened in his marriage? "I was married for 8 years. It
was a rather odd situation at that time. She got pregnant and I didn't
want to have a child out of wedlock and so I married her so we could
build a home together, even though we had given birth to the first
child.

Things weren't rosy then, but I believed it was the right thing to do
for the sake of the child. I overlooked my own personal desires, I
just wanted to do right. Our second child came and I stood by my
family like I always have; but no one is perfect, we had our issues –
the crisis persisted but we stayed because of the kids.

But you never make that kind of decision because if the parents are
not happy together then the children suffer." "I'll also like to
correct a misconception – she is not older than me, and she wasn't
taking care of my financial needs as people have insinuated.

We were both starting off in life on the same grounds – no one was exploited."

Cool FM Presenter Suspended For Slapping Female Co-Worker

Popular Cool FM 96.9 radio presenter/On-Air- Personality Oladotun
Ojuolape Kayode, a.k.a D.O 2d T.U.N was recently suspended for
slapping a colleague.

The energetic and eccentric OAP is said to have handed out the slap on
an intern for 'being rude.' Inside sources say the management, after
listening to both parties and witnesses, were forced to hand out the
suspension to the OAP.

Dotun was apparently aggravated by the intern, Tobi, and reacted by
slapping her. Some sources inside the organisation however claim that
Tobi deserved it: 'I'm sorry Dotun got suspended but we at the office
are all happy he slapped her', another OAP working at the station
tells NET in anonymity.

'She was spoilt and rude and was causing too much wahala at the
station, she had it coming!'. We're told Tobi joined the station and
was assigned to work with another OAP, Mannie on the 'Good Morning
Nigeria Show' as one of his three co-hosts, but after a while, she was
reportedly transferred to the production room because she wasn't
getting on well with the other presenters. 'They had to take her off
air and transfer her where she would be less of a disturbance', our
source tells us.

Tobi has since completed her NSYC year and left the station, while
Dotun has now returned to his job.

'It happened some months back. I have made up with her and we've both
moved on', Dotun who participated in the October edition of 'Walk
against Violence' tells NX.
Dotun, who has been working at Cool FM since 2004, currently anchors
the 'Midday Oasis Show' alongside singer-presenter Temilola 'Taymi'
Balogun. He also doubles as an MC at various shows, helping out at the
weekly talent showcase Industry Nite once in a while.

The 28-year-old occasionally serves as a hypeman, working with rappers
Ice Prince and Vector.

Dotun is currently in a relationship with Taiwo Oyebanjo, pop star
D'banj's younger sister and Kay Switch's twin.Sources say Dotun and
Taiwo are head over heels in love with each other, with the former
often saying Taiwo has 'changed his life.'

We hear he has also met her parents and has gotten approval from them
and D'banj himself. Taiwo Oyebanjo served as the Mo'Hits accountant
before the controversial split, and currently runs a women's clothing
boutique in Victoria Island.

Justin Bieber Booed By Canadian Football Crowd, Defends Wearing Overalls To Meet Prime Minister

Canadian football fans attending the Grey Cup in Toronto treated
Bieber Fever more like The Plague Sunday.

Justin, 18, was showered in boos before and during his halftime show
performance, thoughCanada's prodigal son didn't let the hostile crowd
throw off his game, showing no sign of duress while singing his hits
Boyfriend, and Beauty and a Beat.

The Baby singer hailed the crowd, "Thank you so much Canada I love you."

What likely caused the shower of jeers was a perceived disrespect on
Justin's partearlier in the week, ashe met with Canadian Prime
Minister Stephen Harper wearing overalls and a backwards ball cap.

The Canadian leader didn't seem too upset by the slight, tweeting
Sunday, "In fairness to [Bieber]I told him I would be wearing my
overalls too."

The on-again, off-again boyfriend of Selena Gomez later explained the
lack of formality in addressing his homeland's leader.

"The pic of me and the Prime Minister was taken in a room in the arena
where i was performing at that day," he wrote on is Instagram account,
"I walked straight from my meet and greet to him, if you...expect me
to have a change of clothes let a loan a suit at that specific time
that's crazy, It wasn't like it was like I was going into his
environment we were at a hockey arena. Wow am i ever white trash."

Bieber's colleague Carly Rae Jepsen also took the stage Sunday,
singing her smash hit Call Me Maybe, though the crowd seemed more
welcoming of her.

Don't worry too much for the Biebs, who's still getting plenty of love
south of the Canadian border, having defeated superstars Rihanna,
Maroon 5, Katy Perry and Drake for the artist of the year honors at
this month's American Music Awards.

“We must all depreciate this razzmatazz and Nestorian braggadocio” – Obahiagbon slams pastors with private jets

Former lawmaker and Chief of Staff to Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo
State, Patrick Obahiagbon has joined the long list of other Nigerians
currently condemning Men of
God for owning private jets. The famous grammarian voiced his position
on the popular social network site (facebook) on Sunday morning.

The Edo-born politician asserted that it was morally wrong for pastors
to acquire private jets in a country where millions of faithfuls sleep
hungry without roofs on their heads.
He said, "I cast my vote for Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah and Pastor
Tunde Bakare in their demosthenic vitriol against spiritual
megalomaniacs whose modus vivendi has become increasingly byzanthine
and repulsively narcissistic.

We must all begin to deprecate this razzmatazz and Nestorian
braggadocio in the "HOUSE OF GOD", because when there is no difference
between the values of a Pastor and a typical Nigerian Politician, then
it's truly a bolekaja ambience," he said. His statement came following
the acquisition of private jet by President of the Christian
Association of Nigeria, Ayo Oritsejafor.

Apart from Oritsejafor who is the President of Christian Association
of Nigeria, other church leaders who own private jet(s) include:
Founder of Living Faith Ministries, Bishop David Oyedepo; General
Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch
Adeboye; Founder of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM), Bishop
Mike Okonkwo.

Sources say also in the league, is Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of Christ
Embassy Church. General Overseer of the Word of Life Bible Church,
Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, had a fortnight
ago said the jet-gift was presented to him by members of his church
during the celebration of his 40th anniversary in the ministry.

as a PR stunt for a new movie ended up scaring the living daylight out
of some concerned fans.

Apparently, the actress' latest role is of a girl who had bright
aspirations of going to school but had her hopes dashed when she was
diagnosed with cancer.

The movie, titled 'A Wish', produced by Elvis Chucks stars Akindele as

Return of Jenifa' were styled to be comedic, but the movie more
importantly also shed light of the awareness of HIV/AIDS.

movies, including the 2011 Tunde Kelani drama 'Maami' which is
reported to have grossed N19M at

Tom Cruise Movie Shuts Down London's Trafalgar Square for Filming

Look out, London, Tom Cruise is here. The actor has kept a relatively
low profile while filming in the city for his film All You Need Is
Kill, but he made his presence known on Saturday when production shut
down Trafalgar Square for shooting. Filmmakers reportedly brought in
tanks, suggesting it was an action scene, so not only did tourists get
a glimpse of Cruise, but some pretty dramatic scenes, also.

Lucky! Though people crowded around the Square to watch filming,
police made sure to keep passersby off set. The film also stars Emily
Blunt and Bill Paxton, and follows the story of a soldier who must
fight a war against aliens. Yes, this is a role Cruise should be
comfortable portraying. The flick is set to hit theaters March 7,
2014.

Chris Brown Deletes Twitter Following Feud With Comedian

Well, whaddya know? Chris Brown decided to unleash another Twitter
attack before completely deleting his whole profile (again). The
singer, who was recently spotted hanging out with Rihanna for the
Thanksgiving holiday, can no longer be found on the social media
network--shortly after a vulgar tweet exchange between the singer and
comedy writer Jenny Johnson, Breezy's official Twitter page

Rafa Benitez BOOED BY FANS was expected As Chelsea and Man-City play Goalless

Rafa Benitez was not expecting a royal welcome on his first day at
the saddle as Chelsea boss but the treatment he got from fans, will
leave him stunned to say the least.

As the teams lined up for the pre-match handshakes and Benitez emerged
from the tunnel, it was boos and jeers that rang throughout Stamford
Bridge from Chelsea supporters who apparently had a soft spot for
sacked coach, Roberto Di Matteo. The reaction was sharply in contrast
to what Benitez was expecting – before the game, when he was asked
about his expection from the home fans, he responded, "I don't think
it will be bad. They know they have to support the manager."

Soon as the boos died down, a minute's applause was observed in memory
of former Chelsea manager, Dave Sexton, who died today at the age of
82.

Although the game ended in a stalement, Benitez will be too glad with
the result. At the post-match tunnel interview, Petr Cech said, "Today
was about starting from zero again and getting a positive result."
While Manchester City skipper, Vincent Kompany had this to say:
"There's not many teams that come here and win."

Other results of the EPL games played today:

Swansea 0-0 Liverpool

Southampton 2-0 Newcastle United

Chelsea 0-0 Manchester City

Tottenham 3-1 West Ham

With these results, Manchester United now sit comfortably in the top
spot with 30-pts, followed closely by rivals, Manchester City 29-pts,
West Brom (3rd) 26-pts, Chelsea (4th) 25-pts, Everton (5th) 21-pts and
Arsenal (6th) 20-pts.

Ebonyi State Governor, suspends ATTORNEY GENERAL &Two Commissioners for Improper DRESSING

Yesterday, the Ebonyi State Governor, Martin Elechi, suspended the
Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Ben Igwenyi, and two
other commissioners for what it called "improper dressing".

A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, named the
two commissioners as Hyacinth Ikpo, Commissioner for Culture and
Tourism and Chukwuma Nwandiugo, Commissioner for Works and Transport.

The commissioners were said to have dressed casually to a state
banquet organised for the members of the Society of Gyneacologists and
Obstetrics of Nigeria (SOGON) at the Government House on Friday night.

According to the statement published by The Nation, the suspension was
for a period of three months. The statement further directed the
commissioners not to attend any state function throughout the duration
of their suspension.

The governor was said to have been enraged by the commissioners'
"lacklustre dressing to the occasion which had in attendance members
of SOGON from various states of the federation which seemed to portray
a bad image of the state in the eyes of the visitors".

Sources close to Government House revealed that the suspension is
without pay, adding that the commissioners have been directed to hand
over all government properties in their possession to their permanent
secretaries.

What do you make of this news? The report did not state exactly what
they wore to the event, but according to the state governor, "casual
dressing" is "lacklustre dressing" which implies it is "improper
dressing".

Rihanna Tweets Picture Of Shirtless Chris Brown In Bed

Rihanna apparently wants everybody to know that she and Chris Brown are back on.

With his jeans pulled down so that his underwear is on full display,
the tattoo-covered Brown lays sprawled across a bed covered in
Simpsons memorabilia. In fact, Rihanna gave the photo the hash tag
#SimpsonObsessed.

Earlier in the week, Rihanna attended Chris' concert in Berlin. The
two were seen together at his after party and then left together for
their hotel.

Many fans as well as domestic violence experts are stunned that
Rihanna has gotten back together with the bad who beat her her badly
in 2009.

But the Unapologetic singer has been making it clear in recent weeks
that she's forgiven Chris and everybody else might as well get over
it.

Not everybody is though, and on Thursday Brown announced he was
pulling out of a huge stadium show scheduled for next month in Guyana
because several women's groups were protesting his appearance.

Breaking News: BOMB EXPLOSION in MILITARY CHURCH at JAJI IN KADUNA

A bomb explosion has occurred at a Church inside a military complex in
Jaji, Kaduna State.

The explosion occurred on Sunday inside the premises of the Armed
Forces Command and Staff College, Jaji, in Igabi Local Government Area
of Kaduna State

Update :

The explosion was reportedly caused by a car bomb which was detonated
in front of the church inside the military barracks. "A car drove into
the church premises … then detonated the bomb" at around 1145GMT, a
military officer told the Reuters news agency, asking not to be named.

The attack took place after the church service had ended there.

An official of the National Emergency Agency (NEMA) in Abuja, Mr

NYC BAR FIGHT: Chris Brown, Drake will not be Charged

Nightclub after the brawl

In the case of Drake vs. Chris Brown in the bottle-flinging bar fight
over Rihanna's supposed love and affection this past June; neither
entertainer will face charges in the scuffle.

Drake and Chris Brown made headlines this summer after the two clashed
at the NYC nightclub W.i.P. Drake reportedly sent back a bottle of
Cristal that Brown bought for the Young Money rapper's table. Next
thing you know, it's raining glass bottles at the club.

TMZ reports that the investigation has been closed and authorities
will not be pressing charges against Drake, Brown or any members of
their entourages, because of the lack of evidence. The club's
surveillance video proved to be a dead end, too dark and grainy to
produce any relevant footage.

Follow-up interviews that the NYPD conducted with witnesses and
suspects were also inconclusive. While the rapper and R&B crooner
avoid adding any charges to their rap sheet, several lawsuits remain
open. Among the famous guests at the club that evening was NBA
dribbler Tony Parker, who claims his eye was injured in the brawl and
is asking for $20 million in damages from W.i.P. In return, W.i.P. has
filed a $16 million lawsuit against both Chris Brown and Drake.

As there was no evidence to hold the two, authorities say they won't
be facing charges. Everyone is regarded innocent until proven guilty.

Halle Berry's Fiancé Olivier Martinez's Restaurant Under Attack By State Regulators

Olivier Martinez has more to worry about than the swollen hand he got
in his fight with Halle Berry's ex-boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry.

The French actor is part owner of the Miami restaurant, Villa Azur,
that opened last spring with great fanfare.

But a routine state inspection on November 16 recorded so many
violations, the very idea of eating there might make you sick.

Inspectors found 13 violations marked critical or likely to directly
contribute to food contamination and illness, according to the website
of the states Department of Business and Professional Regulations,
reports The Miami Herald.

Another seven violations were deemed noncritical.

Among the critical violations, says The Herald's Gossip Extra: fish
served raw without having undergone parasite destruction; food thawing
in standing water; cutting boards on the floor; food stored on the
floor; and staff handling ready-to-eat food without gloves.

As Y!Online.com reported, Olivier and Aubry got into a brutal brawl at
Halle's home on Thanksgiving.

Ini Edo speaks on divorce, N600m largesse

Nigerian Top Actress, Ini Edo-Ehiagwina, is currently enmeshed in
controversies about her marriage and an alleged largesse from the Akwa
Ibom State governor Godswill Akpabio.

Not mincing words and obviously angry, the actress spat fire at those
paddling untrue stories about her.

She said, "As a rule, I don't reply every talk or report about me, but
these recent ones are crazy and baseless. I don't know where they got
their information that my state governor offered me N600m to build an
art or film academy in Uyo.

"This is just another work of mischief makers, who keep troubling
celebrities. To put the records straight, my state governor has not
offered me such money to build a film academy in Uyo (the Akwa Ibom
State capital), as was falsely reported.

"As for the other wicked rumours that I've been divorced by my United
States–based husband, Phillip Ehiagwina, that is just another lie that
can only come from professional happy home breakers. No fight or
separation ever happened. We are still together, doing great things as
husband and wife."
